BMW has lost there purpose in life. They are becoming more AMG like. Slapping a M badge on anything with four wheels. Back in the day M meant motorsport, you would revert to the TV and there was an M3 or an M5 sedan or an F1 racecar or a Z , screaming around a circuit. That mean't something. To me it was buying authenticity. It has become more like AMG and less like M. What's next, an M7!

@appayipyip oh no, dude check the 550 has an I6 engine while the M5 has a V10 engine about the new 5's I think the regular has a V8 and the new M5 has a V8 twin turbo.

the 335 has a I6 engine, while the M3 has a V8. so its not just the badges, although the 7 M, X3 M they only get some new cosmetics and a about 90HP increase by tweaking the software on them and on the X5 M and X6 M I think they have a regular 3.0l engine, a 4.8l engine, and on the M the V10 from the 2008 M5

I think it's wrong that BMW put M badges on their SUVs. It just doesn't feel right. Doesn't sound right either. X5 M? When you have to rearrange characters in your automobile's title because another car has already been called that, (Mazda MX5) I think it's a sign and said car just shouldn't be made. Say goodbye to M-otorsport and hello to M-arketing! ...Oh yea, and methinks the holes in the bumper beneath the headlamps are a bit too massive.

What's the point of this SUV? Overkill for this class of cars. All of this power and technology would work far better in an M3 that can actually make use of it on the road. Maybe it was built to provide another level of exclusivity between all of the common X3s and X5s littering the streets.

Had a G55. The only vehicle I've ever owed where I thought "OK, this does not need any more power" People riding in it just couldn't believe the power it had. My gray haired old fart or a neighbor swore up and down his X5 would beat it. Now he drives a G55 : )

Jeremy acted dumber than ever, he Never used the traction control, nor non of any of the features, the review from australia, press the P/\ button, with that, you can turn the parking assist on/off! its so simple my 84 year-old grand father can do it! they make something so SIMPLE seem so complicated! only making themselves look more stupid lol. I love top gear, but highly disappointed on their x6 review!
