@champions2009908 rofl. It's OK we're all new at some point. If its a car it will most likely be front wheel drive with CV shafts. Some cars have rear wheel drive and a select few have all wheel drive. The closest a car will have to 4x4 is all wheel drive.

If you meant that you have an SUV or a truck you will either have a stick to operate the transfer case or a button on your dash somewhere to engage or disengage the 4x4. PM if you have any questions.

@bocajred11 Nissan "Landcruisers" are called Patrols. As far as I know the junk Pathfinder is N.A market only, or would be a compact in OZ. Whereas the Patrol would be the full size. The Patrols are also solid axle & Pathfinders are POS IFS like the north american Pathfinder. The WORST IFS I ever owned was a Nissan Hardbody. Found on trucks & SUV's during that time. The BEST IFS would be the Toyota Mini/ 4R 86-95 or 1st gen T100's. If you want a REAL f/s SUV & you live in NA get a FJ80 or FzJ80

In Oz all they have are Toy-ota's and Nissans. It costs them a fortune for any thing else. 1991 Discovery costs £8,000 at the moment. Its cheeper to equip a Jap car with ARB lockers, a lift and big tyres than buy a Defender or Range Rover. Also a pick up (or yout) is in Ozzy blood
