I've been eating shelled hemp seeds and loving it, I have tried it in oil form and it tasted gross but the seeds taste good. I like your balaced approach, I'm annoyed by people who say hemp oil cures ALL. It's a huge helper and curative in many cases and should be promoted, but sometimes you need more than just that. Clearly part of the reason it's so helpful is the high nutrient content. It's also a lot safer than fish oil these days!

Via a youtue video about Cannabis seed consumption in Nepal I learned that they roast them traditionally. Tried it in the oven, at 100°C. Taste good! I learned via the book “Marihuana, the first twelve thousand years” that the Romans liked hemp seed in their yoghurt. So, I put them roasted in fat organic yoghurt. That was my first dish that I liked with Hemp seed. Don’t overheat them, that taste not so good, and the fats can go carcinogenic.

It is easier and cheaper and uses no solvent if you follow Dr. Diane's cannabis olive oil recipe for simply boiling the Indiga leaves (not as expensive as buds) in one quart of water and 8 ounces of olive oil. Once boiling, cover with lid and let simmer for three hours stirring occassionally. Then strain through a metal sieve and squeeze the leftover leaves and stems. Place is a pot and put in freezer....when water freezes, scrape off hemp oil medicine with rubber spatula. Safe and cheap.

The THC ratio loss wouldn't be cost effective, and when you're dying, saving money or growing less isn't a legitimate argument, especially if you're not alive to argue.

However, if it's literally all you can truly get a hold of, it would certainly be far better than no treatment at all.

I thought about your comment and Rick Simpson's comment that I would need far more leaves to create the same effect...So, I simply took the olive oil/hemp oil medicine made with leaves (as described above) and then gave my mother one full teaspoon of the oil instead of the usual 1/4 tsp. She became so spaced out by the increased dosage that I knew there was plenty of THC in the oil....So I went back to 1/4 tsp twice daily.

I agree with most of what she is saying except her info on Flax seed oil. Dr. Johhana Budwig used flax seed oil to cure ALL kinds of cancers. To take care of Omega-6 [potential deficiency], she developed a product called Oleolux. Anyone can make that, it's made of unrefined coconut oil, which is infused with onion and garlic [for sulfur content] and then mixed with flax seed oil. It's delicious! Make sure to get info on Dr. Budwig's protocol.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with Rick Simpson who makes hemp oil and has been curing thousands of people from a whole variety of different diseases like cancer, but his hemp oil is actually more properly termed marijuana oil.

In stores on shelves you will see 'hemp oil', but it will always be hemp seed oil because hemp oil, the cure-all, is in fact illegal.

I would say that it's most likely you're taking hemp seed oil.

ALWAYS make sure the hempseed oil that you buy is COLD-PRESSED and/or RAW. Any heat and/or light will destroy the oil. Make sure it is in a dark bottle where it is not subject to light.

I was also thinking the oil should be cold pressed. but the off the shelf oil has THC removed and is concentrated to about 1% which cures nothing. What do you think of Distilling the oil at 100%? Can the enzymes survive.

Cold-Pressed hemp oil is NOT distilled. This is why I said to make sure that the oil is cold-pressed. If it is raw, then no heat is added to it. For example, you can buy cold-pressed hemp oil from Nutiva in most stores & it is considred raw. Just make sure it is expeller cold-pressed, unrefined, raw, and nitrogen flushed. Keep in mind that THC is NOT the only cannabinoid. Other types include: CBG, CBD, THCV, CBDV, CBCV, & CBN. At least 66 cannabinoids have been isolated from the cannabis plant.

Obviously "Cold Pressed oil is NOT distilled." But if it is "raw," how do you know if all the cannabinoid enzymes are extracted from the plant. Do you know of Cold Pressed hemp oil curing cancer, even though it does make sense to me. GW pharmaceuticals is a so called world leader in this field and they are conducting trials in the UK, and extracting using ethanol, also Rick Simpson "Run from the cure."

SOME nutrients could be lost during the processing of the oil, but as long as it isn't exposed to light & is raw then it will contain the cannabinoids/enzymes. Also make sure it is nitrogen flushed since this will minimize oxidation.

Hi Cortez, You're confusing the oil from the seed, with the oil from the fruiting body. The EFA, Raw Food Ultra Pure Cold Pressed and Cold filtered (absence of soot, dirt, etc. is only available from Jeff's Best Hemp!. The Oil used in the Rick Simpson Extract is Oil obtained from the fruiting body, not the seed. It's boiled down, etc. into that bit of extract you saw on his videos. They are not the same part, or from even the same gender of the Hemp Plant. I hope that helps.
