Thank you Notvalid; I am definitely going to buy the In Rio album. I love all Spanish music, and I really like what they do with Sinal Verde. Have you ever heard of a group, Forro For All? They are based in NYC, but come from somewhere in northern Brazil. . . jenny
After I mentioned Forro, I played my album, and thought you probably would NOT like it; not sophiticated like Minas! But I am totally surprised that you even recognized the name.
As far as Minas is concerned, no I did NOT know the group was Portuguese; this track is SUNG, but not using words, so I had no way of knowing. And I don't really recognize the difference between the music of the two countries (ouch!!). . . jenny

Actually yes, I saw Forro For All about 6 weeks ago at Festival Internationale de Louisiane in Lafayette. Good stuff.
Glad you liked Minas- and I'm sure you know it's Portuguese, not Spanish ;-) Minas writes their originals in both Portuguese and English.
