Great fun and fabulous-effective workouts sometimes look much more effortless than they really are. Like watching a top-notch ballet--- you have NO IDEA how intense that entire process is. Now, I hope that didn't sound too intense
Yes it's a fabulous fitness strategy which you obviously know nothing about, and unlike you most participants have class, and don't make wussy derogatory comments about their fellow workout peeps
This looks like a great fitness strategy; but I gotta say, if this is their workout regimen then some of these women need to dance A LOT more. I wish they could dance the ugly away.
Zumba is amazing! I have hypothyrodism and I've lost weight doing zumba for 3 days a week 60minutes minimum. Its helped tone me up but you have to make sure youre putting in the work too to see the results :)
The way to lose excess weight is to excersize on a regualr basis(Zumba is a fabulous/fun workout, you should definitly try it)... , and eat healthy... meaning minimal junk-fast food and not too big of portions, easy on desserts and more good stuff like fruits/veggies/cereals w/o lotsa sugar, lean meats and proteins Don't drink soda, easy on the alcohol, don't do drugs, don't smoke..... That is the simple steps to good health
Good, rememmber that for your entire life. You DON'T do drugs! Good girl. FYI- In my opinion, drinking lots of saod can be as bad as taking illegal drugs. It's got ZERO nutritional benifits. Drink wanter and some fruit juices that have %100 juice, no added sugar. You'll lose weight the right/healthy way

@HennFlix - Whilst I applaud your enthusiasm for ZUMBA FITNESS, I object to your misuse of the name & incorrect description of what it is. ZUMBA IS NOT "an aerobics-like.....dance-class-craze". ZUMBA is not a dance class. It is a Latin dance inspired dance FITNESS class. There's no such thing as "Zumba Dance" & it is a breach of a licensed trademark to describe it that way (ie. in your heading). So, 10/10 for enthusiasm & encouragement but it's a fail on description & legal compliance!
I produced-directed the Music video. (I'd never heard of Zumba) I described what "I" saw, and I stick by that description. You said, "ZUMBA is not a dance class." Next sentence "it is a dance class, Latin Inspired."
To all I've inspired to do Zumba, it's Latin Inspired. (Yawn) You call it Fitness class, I said aerobics. Guess I'm old-fashioned :) Thanks for the "10", but "Legal Compliance?" haha, I say chill and enjoy Zumba, let's all get healthy & forget the other petty, legal crap

As a video producer, I am completely passionate and serious about my work. (In business myself 20 years) I can respect what you say completely, & I would never say ANYTHING to knock Zumba. I've been one of their biggest advocates. It's a fabulous workout and fun time for everyone I've heard from. I'm amazed at how many thousands have written to tell me that my video has inspired them to do Zumba, and now they're hooked and fit. I have NOTHING NEGATIVE to say about the progam, and never would.
Just go back to the Zumba Music Video that I produced, and underneath to the left it tells you the artists name, song name, and you can even upload the tune, and sing me to sleeeeeep ahhhhhhhhh
ZUMBA you CAN do it! Simply go to your nearest store that sells shoes(it's called a shoe store), and purchase two shoes.... One for the left foot and one for the right.....Drink plenty of fluids and eat all your vegetables... OK, so what u waiting for? Get to it girl!

@Kemiztri I live in North America, and trust me all of the parties you go to - well the 18-25 ones anyway - the only kind of dancing there is, is grinding... I haven't seen real dancing at a party or a club in a long time..

just started taking zumba classes and let me tell u i love it. I hate regular boring excercising this def. motivated me to get some great cardio and an all over body work out. I underestimated its effectivness and if i would be able to feel it and after the first class i realized that it is no joke it is actually and excellent workout!

Good, rememmber that for your entire life. You DON'T do drugs! Good girl. FYI- In my opinion, drinking lots of saod can be as bad as taking illegal drugs. It's got ZERO nutritional benifits. Drink wanter and some fruit juices that have %100 juice, no added sugar. You'll lose weight the right/healthy way

@HennFlix - Whilst I applaud your enthusiasm for ZUMBA FITNESS, I object to your misuse of the name & incorrect description of what it is. ZUMBA IS NOT "an aerobics-like.....dance-class-craze". ZUMBA is not a dance class. It is a Latin dance inspired dance FITNESS class. There's no such thing as "Zumba Dance" & it is a breach of a licensed trademark to describe it that way (ie. in your heading). So, 10/10 for enthusiasm & encouragement but it's a fail on description & legal compliance!

I produced-directed the Music video. (I'd never heard of Zumba) I described what "I" saw, and I stick by that description. You said, "ZUMBA is not a dance class." Next sentence "it is a dance class, Latin Inspired."
To all I've inspired to do Zumba, it's Latin Inspired. (Yawn) You call it Fitness class, I said aerobics. Guess I'm old-fashioned :) Thanks for the "10", but "Legal Compliance?" haha, I say chill and enjoy Zumba, let's all get healthy & forget the other petty, legal crap

Maybe not to you. But to the program itself, very big difference indeed; & an issue that licensed Zumba Instructors have to deal with regularly. So you can yawn all you like, but you're not the one handling the misconceptions.

As to Legal Compliance, Zumba LLC takes its licensed trademarks VERY seriously & there is no such thing as “ZUMBA Dance”. So again, might be “petty legal crap” to you, but to the organisation & it’s instructors who take pride in what they do & are very protective of the brand that has been so successful for them, it’s neither petty nor crap.

As a video producer, I am completely passionate and serious about my work. (In business myself 20 years) I can respect what you say completely, & I would never say ANYTHING to knock Zumba. I've been one of their biggest advocates. It's a fabulous workout and fun time for everyone I've heard from. I'm amazed at how many thousands have written to tell me that my video has inspired them to do Zumba, and now they're hooked and fit. I have NOTHING NEGATIVE to say about the progam, and never would.

Just go back to the Zumba Music Video that I produced, and underneath to the left it tells you the artists name, song name, and you can even upload the tune, and sing me to sleeeeeep ahhhhhhhhh

ZUMBA you CAN do it! Simply go to your nearest store that sells shoes(it's called a shoe store), and purchase two shoes.... One for the left foot and one for the right.....Drink plenty of fluids and eat all your vegetables... OK, so what u waiting for? Get to it girl!

i am wanting to try a zumba class i havent yet but I have no dance skills so would i be able to do this.?? I am considering to go to golds gym they have a class there. In indianapolis. It looks fast pace. Please anyone with experience in it respond !!!thanks

@Kemiztri I live in North America, and trust me all of the parties you go to - well the 18-25 ones anyway - the only kind of dancing there is, is grinding... I haven't seen real dancing at a party or a club in a long time..

@Kemiztri I'm sure there are places, I can think of one club in my city where I've danced salsa and merengue, but it's not a place where my 50 year old white neighbour would be comfortable going, you know? Zumba doesn't discriminate... it's a freakin' exercise class for everyone.

just started taking zumba classes and let me tell u i love it. I hate regular boring excercising this def. motivated me to get some great cardio and an all over body work out. I underestimated its effectivness and if i would be able to feel it and after the first class i realized that it is no joke it is actually and excellent workout!
