AoC will never EVER be in the top 5 MMOs, if an MMO doesn't work within a year it never will.

Do you know how many subscribers the game has? Go get the numbers and then tell me the game will ever be known in the outside world ^_^

think it have around 100-200 k players in europe and around 300 in america atm. they are launching the game in korea in a couple of weeks now also. The playerbase is not "high" but steady, every game cant have as many subscribers as wow, but wow will get old soon, looks like a game from ps1

Like i said, wow is easy accesable, you dont need a good computer to run it, commercials on tv etc. It has a high number of players now, but i would guess that in a 2-3 years span there will be lesser ppl and then completely die within 5 years. Conan on the other hand has just started.

Yes, WoW will obviously lose its title of "Top of the MMO demand" sooner or later, but how the fuck does that mean AoC will claim the title? If any game... ANY game will, it would be like Champions online, or Warhammer or something, not Age of fucking Conan.

have i ever said that conan would be the top mmorpg of the world? no i havent, i am just saying that it wont die but become healthier over the years. AoC is a adults game, all 200 members in my guild is 20+, wow on the other hand is like what 12+? thats why the numbers are so high, many kids playing it. Wow has become commercial, the big public is automaticly drawn to it.

AoC has past its peak subscribers, it would take a lot to get it back up to that peak.

I have played AoC... I have the Limited Edition of it in a wardrobe somewhere.

I played it on the highest settings and that with excellent FPS, got to level 17 or something and was like "WHAT THE HELL THIS GAME SUCKS!" and people said level 1-20 was the best part...

I tried it again like 4 months ago as they gave me a revitalization trial thing, played it for like a week to like level 25 then stopped.

The combat system is a gimmick, becomes dull after a few hours and then becomes an inconvenience.

Yeah there is some content, but it lacks polish.

I've heard that AoC does not work with Windows 7... If so that is so fucking silly ^_^

nice that you will try it out man, also be aware that a uge patch is coming mid januari, with tier 3 raids and loads of guild functions..and aoc works fine with windows 7, no probs, it even goes smoother
