What people fail to realize is that its built for door breaching. the chainsaw grip makes it easier for control. easier to slam the door breacher muzzle break into the door at the lock or hinges. love the shotgun sir. own the 500 road blocker model myself. Oorah

Actually, you are incorrect. Pistol grip, stockless shotguns are incredibly hard to control. Mossberg engineered this, intending it to be fired from the hip, so you can have overhead leverage to control the gun's upward recoil.

Also unlike the "cruiser" model it comes with the 1913 rail pump so they can mount the chainsaw handel thing. That also saves me from having to toss the junk one that comes on it in order to buy another forend.... By the way the top chainsaw Handel thing comes off.....

@frankthebricklayer I think it's a breaching gun. You use the handle to help hold the gun as you're breaking down a door. You don't need to aim at close range! I don't think I'd buy one, but it's probably a good tool for the job it was built for.

Been watching these Zombie shotgun videos.......the handle on top does seem a bit akward and slows down quick sighting down barrel.......with a handle underneath it would make pumping of action and sighting easier........better yet would be to put the handle on the side allowing the left hand to operate the slide like a boxer jab punching. That must be the DUMBEST thing anyone has ever done to a weapon. You took away the stock so that you don't have propert control of the weapon and your hand sits right in the sights so that you can't even aim. Not to mention that the action is less ergonomic than the one that the weapon came with stock. Waste of money that chainsaw was.

You're not supposed to try to look at the sights on a pistol grip shotgun, just shoot from the hip. In my oppinion, that front grip would work way better with a Speedfeed birdshead pistol grip on the rear.
