not bad but put a fast blur on the shells so there more blurry when they come out and also put some tint on them to make them match the lighting of the scene. But still very good!

@DragoKnightxt10 there airsoft, the m4a1 is a G&G gr16 solid stock and the pistol is a KWA beretta, any airsofters out there i would recommend them as solid mid level weapons

@RevelAlliance It's not a fail... have you ever seen how fast cases come out of some guns? It's fast enough that a 24fps will capture a blur... the "bigger than life huge muzzle flash" are hollywood creation like 'visible ejecting cases' so distinct that you can identify what they are.

@oerg yer dude like in the tutorial had the mask on the bolt carrier for every ejection going on, but those single frames got lost somewhere between after effects and youtube

a suggestion for the smoke, use the tint effect to make it less black and then in the curves effect go to alpha and bring it up a bit (to compensate for the smoke being more white & hence less visible.

there is some kind of glow, but it is rare (unless at night) but it is mostly just smoke.

@blackopszombiekiller cheers man, yer i watched the real guns being fired theres not really any muzzle flash in real life mainly just smoke so decide to take a medium between freddiew style and real life, i prefer freddiew's though

@SagnolTheGangster007 thanks, real simple man, in after effects just duplicate the layer, cut it down to just be over the 2 or 3 frames you want the glow to be, change the layers attribute thing form normal to add, then just create the areas where you want the glow by using masks in that layer and feather them till they look right. nice one

@kev550D yer man 100%, in my ultimate kill episode two video we gave a silenced Sig552 a muzzle flash and a shot gun sound because thats the effect we were going for, its wrong but its right in the context of the game show as everything is over the top : )

@blackopszombiekiller in real life there are no muzzle flash at all, especially during the day time for a normal gun. tracers are more dramatic though lol. if you are firing a real gun and the muzzle flash is at much at in the videos, you won't be able to see you next shot down range unless you got a scope and if its at night, it will blind you and also give away your position. so don't believe everything you see :p

@silverwolfalpha I agree but muzzle flashes is like a movie thing. Movie makers like freddiew2 add these to make it look realstic but its acctually not, i guess its just like something you need to have in a movie. :P
