As much as I love Appetite, UYI I&II were the best albums lyrically, and maybe musically too (Although I like Appetite's style more when I just wanna listen to rock)

Songs like Coma, DDM, Locomotive, The Trilogy of Don't Cry, November Rain and Estranged and more seem more lyrically advanced than any song on AfD (Bar the outro of Rocket Queen - that's my favourite outro ever to any song ever I think :P)

Back in 1994 I was in a coma for 24 days. During that time, this song was RINGING in my entire conciousness. I had strange visions of Axl Rose dictating my life, making choices FOR me, while Duff held my hand leading me in the right direction under Axl's instructions. Whenever I decided to think for myself, Axl would get the piston of his gun, aim it at my head and say "shoot the son of a bitch again". It was a traumatic experience, and again highlights the "dark" nature of this song.
