i think that we should learn more than one languege but for instance im in britain and you have to lear french in secondery schooland i didnt like french i wanted to lear japanese so i think you should have the choice wat languege you learn
Great to see New Hampshire-ites in Japan. I actually had started learning Japanese last January. My future plans are to move myself possibly in the JET Program within the next 2 years. I think its really important to have bilingualism in the community. I agree with your advantages on the subject. I feel we should offer bilingual classes in our schools at an earlier age. I lived in Meredith and was not offer other languages until Junior High. My motivation's would be hobbies, culture, and travel.
@gillium79 Thanks for the reply! Sorry I have been without internet for about a month now! More videos are soon to come once I'm settled again. Thanks for watching!
the answer is yes. why speak one language when you can speak two. why speak two when you can speak three. why speak three when you can speak four. why... oh wait i'm not getting anywhere this way.... oh well you get my point
Bilingualism is very important in Europe, nowadays in Portugal you start learning English in your first year of school (we have 12). We can learn foreign 4 languages in school but we only choose 2 (english, french, german, spanish). Most of college students can talk in portuguese, spanish, english and french like me xD. There is also lots of private schools that help you learning all of them, and we only talk in that language.
@lisbonera86 That's wonderful! Thanks for your comment. I am jealous of all the language learning you have had in your life! It motivates me to keep my Spanish studies up as well as continuing to learn Japanese.
