The Wings took 6 to *tragically* end the Jets' existence, and then 7 and double OT in the Blues series, then Claude Lemieux fucked up Draper's face and the Avs won in 6 en route to the Cup.
When its playoff time, THE JOE is absolutely crazy. My dad happened to be at this game and he still says this is teh best red wings game hes ever seen. I wish i was old enough at the time because I would of went. I got to go to both game 7's last yr and game 5 against chicago. game 7 when cleary scored, the Joe exploded. But this was 10 times a bigger explosion than that. GO WINGS FAN 4 LIFE!

@NessMencesal Gretzky was a good scorer, and playmaker.
But Stevie Yzerman was a great leader, in fact; the best! thats the difference between the too.
I still remember watching that game where lemieux made that dirty hit.

And I'm a Pens fan, and I think cooke needs to go. Neal does everything Cooke does, but cleaner and better at scoring.
Neal + Crosby/Malkin = 50 Goals, easily.

They still have this horn now, and also had it in '95. Before that they had a high-pitched ugly sounding horn. I like this horn
