The rabbit is lifes problems.. the woman is societal pressure and we, in the perspective of the man dont have the courage to do what society tells us nor the courage to refuse societys demands, eventually leading to society turning on us leaving us all alone with the problem that it has created.. (or its just a film where you make of it what you wish)
The woman expected the man to do the dirty work. She should have walked away with a low concept of herself instead of calling him a wimp. But that's not how she's been programed.
this just shows how disconnect we are from nature.. we all meat yet we dont worry about how it comes to our hand. but to see blood on our hands we feel so morally challenge.....soft city people Urban wimps
Best way to deal with this is to look at the woman and say "you're the one who's letting it suffer" - instant bullshit nullifier. Your just as guilty as I can be.
Interesting short, nice work. The special effects were great and it was funny how Victoria was instructing him what to do but wouldn't do anything herself!
Myxomatosis is caused by the myxoma virus, a kind of pox virus. There are different strains of the virus which vary in their virulence (basically the ability to cause disease). The susceptibility of different rabbit species (e.g. domestic rabbits, vs hares, vs cottontails etc.) to the virus varies as well... so there ya go.
On the surface it would seem that the story was merely a vehicle to show gore. Perhaps it was meant to demonstrate how the human mind can imagine a sensationalistic view of reality...that the imagined gore may be worse than the real thing, thereby justifying a failure to execute responsibility. Then again, it is the woman in the story who is lacking in compassion, and she would rather belittle her man and walk away from the rabbit then take responsibility for the situation.
@Qntkka yeah the fact that she didn t do it but blamed him made me felt really uncomfortable, that passive abusive behaviour got me away from the story. or that was their point?
I think the point is just to show impurity. Impurity in a species, i.e. rabbits who get ill of myxomatosis and impurity of the mind. Also, it shows how we believe we may get haunted by any sort of sacrifice, in this case, sacrificing the rabbits life to end its suffering... At least that's how I see it.
What the fuck is wrong with these people!!! Dear god! I think I take back my earlier comments a few weeks ago, bring back fucking PJ Harvey, at least then I don't have to look at bunny brains!
