Haha.. This is very nice.. This is the hometown of my dad.. Although, I grew up in Baguio, I visit this beautiful place once in a while, once a year.. The latest was when we had a medical outreach...

It is different if you soak yourself to the really hot water.. all your muscle pains will be dispelled.

Great video, igorot milling sugar cane. I was there 4 years ago. The mainit people use the hotspring to cook feeds for the pigs. They just put the pot in the boiling water and let it steam all day. It works well. The people also adopted to all the boiling waters sorrounding them, the kids are playing beside the hot water streams without fear of getting burn.

Very nice shots! Traditional sugar making is disappearing in neighboring towns, I'm surprised it is still alive in Mainit.

Mainit,Bontoc,Mtn Province.Surfuric hotsprings & warm swimming pools at the local resort.Thick forests and one high mt peak(Mt. Bandilia-an)is where General Emilio Aguilnaldo raised the Philippine flag on his route to kalinga from tirad pass as he was running away from american soldiers.Awesome Rice terraces and fresh mountain water for drinking and bathing alternating with the sulfuric medicinal hotspring bath.40 minute ride away from Bontoc town proper which is 5 hours away from Baguio city.

it's a small village of the capital town Bontoc. just like most areas in the province, has beautiful rice terraces, hot spring bath, great thick forests. local inns are available with swimming pools. great for travelers and elders of nearby places.
