Firstly Youtube is an english-based website, they could have used a number of japanese video uploading websites, so I'm pretty sure posting here suggests that they want a larger audience (us folks in the USA). I hope ur not joking, i agree with Kobayashi, they do need to put more english in their videos if they want to reach a wider audience.
True, Youtube was an English based site, but has since, about a year ago i think, made about 13 localized sites which are all joined to the one major site. So not English-based when they joined.
press advance search, and then look at: refine further by, and still tell me its limited to english vids..
actually i think by speaking japanese they are already hitting a MAJOR target audience, i dont know any japanese and im still watching, there is something about these two girls speaking japanese that you wouldnt get if they spoke English..And if people really want to know whats going on i suggest taking up Japanese..
Well I never said youtube was limited to english vids, I just said it was english-based. I mean suppose I was japanese and Microsoft made Microsoft-Tube, and I posted vids there as opposed to using other popular japanese video hosting sites, surely you would suggest I was reaching to an english speaking audience.
And to address your second point, that is something called personality, it doesn't matter what language they spoke.
hehe microsoft-tube? i know its just hypothetical, but damn would never have thought of that...
I guess you dont quite understand my appreciation of the japanese language, yes they might get some english speaking audience, however speaking in japanese is just different for those like me, its like getting dragged outside you little eu country for a second..
What makes u think they didnt also post "some" of these on japanese sites? and yes the language matters, A LOT! :)

love your energy, if you could be a little more english focused, that would be awesome.

Not sure if that was a joke or not, but why would they be more English focused? They are Japanese.
hammerfromozz 4 years ago 3
what i mean is maybe throw in a quick blurb in english in the info box about the vid or something like that.
Kobayashi77Maru 4 years ago 2
Oh right. yeah That would be cool for all people who don't understand the video. Sorry, didn't know what you meant at first. I think they try though.

Actually let me correct myself. It wasn't localized when they joined. But i think you get the point i'm trying to make.
