I try that cam in the park, first time, got sick footages, look very awesome on the cam or the hdtv, but when i try to watch them on my computer, they are all in slow motion due probably cause they are hd. I would like to know which software i should use to make them normal like on the cam ? (no slow motion or lag) i wish i can do somes cuts to make a movie. The source seem perfect, cause there no lag when i watch them on the cam, only on the compute, can you help me ? do i need a mac ? thanks
Haven't submersed it. But one of the reasons I bought it was because I watched a guy take this camera into a pool with the fisheye. Seemed to work fine if he posted the vid. I bought a 3 year plan with best buy so i'm not worried. It's been almost 3 months now and it's been through some bad winter storms. Definatly got very wet and still rockin
Havent tried the water yet. Probably wont till I go on a warm vacation. It has gotten wet while filing in the snow. Thats why I bought this one. I got an extended warranty from best buy so if it craps out under water I'll get e new one. I suggest this for anyone getting this camera. Extra $40 for three years. Also get the fastest SD card you can get. It makes a difference.
I found your video on the Kodak reviews page. I just bought this little camera and it is still charging as I write this. First off, the video is stunning for such a small camera and you did a great job on shooting it. I was curious to know if you've tried submersing it in water. I read a few reviews that mentioned the camera took in water the very first time it was submersed. I'm wondering if those were just a few defective ones or if its more common than I think.
Yes it was the playsport. I use Vegas video Studio HD Platinum 10. Cost me about $80. Great easy program. I haven't tried the software that comes with it. I'll try it and let you know. The Software is loaded from the camera into your computer.
I have two questions. First question, did you really use the Kodak playsport to record this, because it looks amazing! Second, what video editing software did you use?
