i don't feel the police overused force at all. it turned from a friendly protest into a riot where protestors assaulted the police line. you are free to point out your views in an orderly and peaceful fashion. that does not include what they did. under these circumstances police can use necessary non-lethal force to control you. try that shit in "free" countries such as the states or canada and you'd get a beating from the police. hong kong is a really nice place, they should not take advantage.
