  • @Grievousig101 You don't need to change it to a WinZIP file. Just download it and Windows 7 should have an automatic extraction process.

This is taken straight out of the description box: "**Starting until 4:49 IN IS A TUTORIAL ON THE 3 MAJOR ADDON WEBSITES - FOR THE TUTORIAL ON HOW TO INSTALL WATCH PAST 4:50**" Wow...don't you feel stupid now? Probably.

  • @WoWAholics101 Hmm.. Not really.. 'cause I weren't the one to write that so far down in the description. And how many people actually read the description box in every single youtube video they watch? Maybe your the one that's stupid?

  • dude...you take a long ass time to get to the point bye im not even watching the whole thing

  • From the info box:

**Starting until 4:49 IN IS A TUTORIAL ON THE 3 MAJOR ADDON WEBSITES - FOR THE TUTORIAL ON HOW TO INSTALL WATCH PAST 4:50**

  • okay... should I log in to have a addons folder?

  • Yes you should log in to receive an addons folder.

  • ummm...i kno how to use addons but i got s new laptop and i downloaded burning crusade and when i go to the wow file it doesnt say interface anywhere......

  • Log on to a character then it should be there.

  • Your folder should either be in C: Program Files: World of Warcraft or, more likely if you've fully updated C: Users: Public: Games: World of Warcraft

  • *Edit: Forgot to mention you need to click on interface to get to the addon folder ;P

  • just download WoWMatrix

  • ? I don't have an interface folder?.... =\ Is there an other way w/o using wow matrix or curse client?

  • Try logging into a character then logout then see if your interface folder is there, if not contact Blizzard.

There are many different sites with the same addons.

  • great vid mate

  • This work for WotLK?

  • yes

  • THANK YOU VEEERRRY MUCH!!!

  • 10x Mate.

  • hi, i could not find addon, i clikck c:/ progam file/ wow/ interface, but inside interface no ADDONS. WHY?

  • You have to log in to the game on a character before the addons folder shows up.

  • thanks that did realy help:D

  • man this really helped me a lot. thanks keep the video's going..

  • alright so you have to install this winzip thing in order to even begin installing the addon?

  • If you are running Windows XP or better they actually come with a Compressed Folder option if you do not have WinZIP or WinRAR. So to answer your question, no (if you are running Windows XP or better).

  • wow all i needed to do was download winzip!! thanks alot!!!:D

  • in my interface folder theres nothin should i make an addon folder plz plz reply

  • No. Log in on your account on a character and then exit the game. This should create the addons folder.

  • lots of help and grate guide 5/5

  • there is no addon bbutton on my char selection screen

  • then you probly dint install it right

  • What if you're WoW Add Ons Folder is empty and there are no pre-installed blizzard ones? Is that a problem?

it says i only need 800mgb but i deleted like 1000 mgb what am i doing wrong??

    thanks for any help

  • RAM is another thing from hard drive space.

To find out how much RAM you have, right click on My Computer, go to Properties, and select the General tab if it isn't already. At the bottom of that tab there will be a section called "Computer:" and the last sentence is your RAM.

  • wow, thanks man. this video help me so much.

  • holy crap thanks dude :D

    it helped me!

  • ya, i got a crappy windows 2000 prof. any idea how to install it onto that cus its obviously not working the same. theres no extract button

  • WinZIP always has an Extract button. No matter what OS you're running.

  • Thanks a lot, dude. This helped A LOT.

  • isnt it easier to use the curse client? it almost does it for you

  • whats tht sound on the voice background sounds lie a retarded sound from the grudge :p

  • Press Esc to bring up the menu, go to Video options, then at the top right I think there is an option for Windowed Mode.

  • little laggy :D but still u explain perfect for the ppl that doesnt know how to install addons:)

  • thx man i finally figured it out thx

  • thks man i wanna kiss you right now cuase of you vid lol but i wont ahaha

  • hi i switch alot in wow and i know that i would like a warrior at 70 but its sooo boring to lvl and i feel like bashing my head against a wall its very boring but do u guys think its worth it to lvl even though its boring at the lower lvls? and what lvl does it start getting fun?

  • Hey.

First of all I would just like to say that warriors are probably the most boring class to level. On my warrior I probably took like 3 breaks between 1-70.

As for the fun levels, for me they were 60-70.

But I think leveling is totally worth it to get a 70 because at at that level is where the fun really begins.

  • thanks it works great

  • where have you downloaded all the patches?

  • Whenever a new patch is made it updates itself...

  • wich one do i go on manual instal or automatic instal ???? please right back tanks

  • Manual.

  • ok i just download winzip from the link you gave me and i did all the stuff but then when i click on the program on the destop its goes back to setup then to all these options like repair register and uninstall how can i unzip my files using it?? help please!!!

  • What program on your desktop? Winzip?

Don't Save the Addon you want, just Open it with Winzip.

  • Aye, I did everything you did, but when I login, the Addons Icon that should be in the Left Corner is not their. Please help.

  • The only thing I can really think of is that you did something wrong in the extraction process.

Remember to extract whats in the ZIP directly to the Interface > Addons folder, not make a sub-folder in the Addons folder for your addon.

  • thx great vid

  • just befor i do this, i need to know if these addons are against the rules.

  • No they are not against the rules. They are totally safe.

  • thanks this rlly helped ALOT!!!!

  • do u have to be a member of curse

  • No.

  • i had addons then i installed burning crusade and they disappeared ive tryed reinstalling doesnt work someon help me

  • It's probably because those addons were for Pre-BC, you need to get the updated ones for BC.

  • How do u download a Warrior UI, just like an adOn or what

  • Yes, it is like downloading an addon.

  • did not any understand...... when i open interface and gonna press on addons what happen addons is not there!

  • When you open the Addons folder there should be default addons installed by Blizzard when you install World of Warcraft. That is where you will install your addons to.

  • The reason many of you are having problems finding the folder is because you put the files extracting STRAIGHT into the WoW Addons folder, not into a different folder called "Auctioneer" or whatever you downloaded.

  • that helped me loads!!!!

  • Yo'n da top man!

    Daz' Dingo!

    (from Darkspear Trolls)

  • thx

  • THANK YOU WoWA101

  • nvm i got it now

  • i have vista does this work with it

  • It should be the same.

  • WAIT WAIT WAIT !! WoWAholics101 I NEED TO KNOW, DOES THIS WORK IS PRIVATE SERVERS =0

  • Yes.

  • found it now and i have some good ones now thanks dude

  • i cant find my wow addon folder wich lots of people say i should save it in

  • Okay.

Go inside your World of Warcraft folder (where you installed it), find a folder called "Interface" and in there should be a sub-folder called AddOns.
