THANK YOU, I was trying to remember where I'd previously heard this from. I was thinking full frontal for a moment there. Why are people putting comments like this down, it WAS originally from Hale and Pace? Doesn't make it any less funny on this show.

Hale and Pace did a similar thing, but the premise was completely different. H&P revolved around the idea that pepper made everything better, like repairing TVs etc. Very different to the much more deadpan skit Chris did here, and the spontaneous reactions (esp. that Yank, he just DIDN'T get it!)

It's not the servers fault, their boss makes them do it. I worked in a restaurant, and anyone that wasn't too busy had to go around and ask if anyone wanted "fresh pepper". It SUCKED!!!! people automatically assume your IQ is that of a dead squirrel. What ever it was those pretentious bastards were bound to say other than yes or no made me want to shove that fucking grinder through their teeth and down there fucking throat.
