  • Maybe prime92 already mention, but what is that red thing on his shoulder ?

    Yes im a gundam noob..

  • There is actually a game for the PS3 that features the 7th Gundam, but it's only out in Japan. The Gundam comes from a side story taking place in UC0081. The game is worth checking out. Also, I saw a 1/100 scale 7th Gundam (not full armour) on the net, so you might be able to get one. It's a pretty cool Mobile Suit.

  • @prime92 actually the gp03 thrusters is like the 7th since it was built before the gp03 its from the video game mobile suit gundam battlefield record u.c. 0081. Do u think this would be an o.k. starter kit?

  • @shadowgundam335 this helped me get back into modeling and is a perfect starter looks great straight out of the box and is well poseable by all means get it.

  • u have great talent in making perfect panel lining prime92

  • Full armor gundam appears in the first chapter on MSV-R Return of Johnny Ridden manga.

  • I'm sure someone has already mentioned this but just incase they haven't; This Gundam makes an appearance in the Battle Field record U.C. 0081. didn't know they had a kit for this beast though. Time to order one!

  • come on bandai, MG this baby!

  • did u detail it?

  • @EldenR yes he did on the lines, those black lines arn't there when you buy it

  • I saw this and thought of buying it but then I said nah I'll get the real grade rx-78

  • It's from Hajime Katoki's Harmony of Gundam.

  • I was originally going to. Get this kit but then I realized it does feel important or reconizable so I got the 1/144 scale forever gundam

  • FA-78-3/RX-78-7 is from Gundam Battlefield record 0083, for the PS3...in Japan....Gundamn it... they always keep the GOOD gundam games to themselves...

  • @BlitzkriegOmega The Reason why Gundam Senki 0081 didn't make it to the US was the poor reviews and sales on Gundam Crossfire. If it DID do good, maybe 0081 would of made it in to US sale.

  • @WatcherMovie007 then why did we get Gundam Mousai 2?

  • the thruster stuff on the back makes it look like a bee.

  • I'd Give The Shield To O Gundam.

  • avalanche looks better

  • To be blunt, the large piece in the back isn't a "ass thruster". Watching videos of this guy in action, it's more like a stabilizer for the amount of thrusters it has, as well as when more boosters are added to this mobile suit to create the Heavy FA-78-3.

  • looks like a body armor version of alex

  • The shoulders remind me of Gundam Heavy Arms and Heavy Arms Custom shoulders :P

  • That shield reminds me of a fusion of the ground Gundam, RX-78-2 and the RX-178 MK II shield.

  • This is a part of the MSV series, in canonically, it was only partially built, but the OYW ended before it was complete, and with the development of the NT-1 it was deemed too costly and was scrapped

  • the blue parts kinda reminds me of the avalanche exia...=u=

  • its now in a game Gundam Senki 0081 :P

  • The Full Armor Gundam is from A Gundam Game

  • it came from the ps3 gundam game

    Gundam Senki

(which i been hoping to come to english but bandai doesnt seem to want to)

im hoping they release the GM's in them games

but wow this kit looks awesome

shame about sideskirt and beamsaber handles

if i was to get this i prob try a paint job

  • prime where did you get this. p.s. i havent whatched the video so....

  • the beam rifle looks like an f2000

  • does anyone pilot this or was it just thrown in?

  • that Gundam is from Gundam Senki it only came out as a game.........same year or further than one year war.......

  • it was an unfinished mobile suit built initially for the one-year war

  • blue, white,yellow and red.

    jaja nice model prime

  • It didn' come with beams because the fa 7th gundam is an assault mobile suit.

  • Yeah, but any gundam with a beam sabre handle should come with a beam

  • The Gundam's a DLC for the Gundam game for ps3 MSG Battlefield Record 0081

  • Them some fat panel lines...

  • What would you else expect from 'fine-tip' Gundamn Markaz?

    XD

I remember trying to line my third model with them and noticed that they get stuck and turn into even more useless plastic sticks when using them on cured paint.

  • I feel the same. I see models on Dalong's website lined with Gundam Markers, and while they look decent from a distance, you really notice how sloppy the lines are once you view the close-ups.

Though I can't blame Dalong for using them; with so many kits to build, lining them all must be quite a hassle.

Anyway, that's why I use my own method with paints. Even if it takes longer, I think it looks better, and that's what it's all about.

  • Dalong is a more or less secial case. He not only uses Gundam Markers but enhances the exffect (darkness) even more by drawing a line above that with a Rothring-pen (special designers thin pen).

He explains the technique in one of his special pages. I use this pen, too. The effect is at least better than with GunMarkers. But it's still a pen...

  • Huh, I never knew that.

I forget, did you use or show these pens in one of your videos. I'm thinking you did in one of your SD WIP videos...

  • I forgot it, too. Well...let me search for it....(5 minutes later)...Building SD Alex 8/9 (panel lines, teaser). But I guess the wash-method is better than using any kind of pen. But I had no luck with my color-thinner combination of surface-color and panel-line color in the past so that the wash-over spill wasn't easy to clear.

  • Yeah, that's where I thought I saw it, but I wasn't sure which part.

Truth be told, I forgot a lot about those videos, but your Pledge FFA tip was obviously something I took away from it. :)

  • I even got into the trouble of letting it get smuggled over the Atlantic...but I guess it was worth it.

For a brighter and shinier Future! XD

  • Pledge on the black market... xD

  • Its from a ps3 game

  • The secret V project after 0079 MS was a success and thefore the EFF launched a 2nd batch of mobile suits

    Gundam 04

    Gundam 05

    Mudrock Gundam 06

Those were the gundams that were actually contructed, the 07 and the 08th gundam had blue prints but they were never actually built, the MSV collection has the drawings of what the 07 and 08th are supposed to look like, but once again they were never constructed according to time line

  • Whose idea was it to put the gundam over the name in the boxart?

  • It almost look similsr to the gundam mark-2

  • looks great

  • It looks like Unit 3.

  • I don't like the ass thrusters. :(

  • It's different but it's awesome.LIke an upgraded RX-78-2,the thrusters is ok I guess.

  • I might get this

  • i won this model

  • these are from a Japanese Gundam game that was just released a few months ago on the PS3

  • Is it good?

  • one of the best gundam games so far in my opinion,

    its gundam senki 0081,

taking place in the year 0081, obviously

  • i love this MS!!

i wanted to buy this kit but i couldnt find it

gonna get it next year lol

  • my beam sabers r the same way

  • reminds me of the impulse & duel a bit

  • great gundam

  • History Time:

The FA-78-3 is An Armor Verson of the RX-78-7

Gundam this is one of the first for the 7th Gundam to also have a Hevy Armor but i digress

The Model is from the Game Gundam Senki Battlefield Record UC0081 so Thats all i can give to you till now

  • the hudge beam cannon reminds me of the tallgeese from gundam wing

  • ahahah! so i guess this is the old school dynames + seravee gundam fusion?

  • Well... not really. It's just an armoured version of the original RX-78-2 gundam. I can tell your a new gundam fan!

  • It's the heavy armour version of RX-78-7, i.e. the 7th Gundam, which is independent from RX-78-2 (Unit 2).

  • get the game and play with me ; ~ ;

  • Full Armor Gundam.. in other words "F.A.G."

  • Famous Actors Guild? x-b

  • @GoneDeathMode Its actualy "F.A Gundam" I have to say that that they ised thta In the game

  • @GoneDeathMode

hahaha lol if they say fag in the show i am gonna rofl

  • hi sorry for n00b question wats the diff between HG and HGUC. Is HGUC better quality than HG but below MG?

  • HGUC is just the name of the current line of High Grade Gundam Kits from Universal Century, hence HGUC. There used to be 1/144 kits of UC mobile suits before, but they were rather poor in terms of quality and articulation. It's labelled HCUC in order to distinguish these kits from any old UC kits.

  • man i wanna get dat!

  • While this unit shares similiarities with the GP03S, it is not part of the Gundam Development project. This unit was created during the One Year War, but by the time the war ended, it was just a basic frame. The frame would later be taken out of storage again and completed for use of Phantom Sweep, the Federation's Anti-Zeon force prior to the formation of the Titans. It's likely that the basic idea of this suit was later recycled for the GDP, as this one could also dock with a weapon platform.

  • how awesome is it?

  • Rx-78 2 became FA Rx-78 7 becomes...

    Tactical!

  • it kinda looks like shin musha with the face

  • that's because Shin Musha was based off RX-78 where this guy is originated from

  • is ti from unicorn? (cus i see red title txt)

  • its from UC battle record 0081 which is a game for the ps3

  • Was on the fence with this one. Probably will get it eventually. thanks for posting this.

  • should i get this one or unicorn destroy mode?

  • oh god do want

  • fa 78 7th is from a game

  • the armor on the backside of the arms remind me of the alex gundam

  • it is part of a gundam video game

  • Really nice HGUC, these kind of designs justify this line being my favorite: even though it DOES rehash the RX78 design for the 13323th time, at least it does it well with some nice additions, unlike a lot of other gundams from alternative universes....sometimes it seems that instead of rehashing them with new additions they are just recycling their own ideas over and over again with little to add that actually improves the model (yes, I'm looking at you, SeedvsAstray).

  • in the RX-78-7's deffense, this was designed by the same guy whom designed all the otehr RX-78's, and the original design is almost 20 years old. it was only recently brought back and redesigned by Katoki for use in the new gundam game.

  • i wish it can be like duel gundam in whch you can peel off the armor

  • reminds me of the duel with full armor

  • it wudve been school if they had like a handle on that bigger rifle, the ass thruster reminds me of cheridum. some what if you take out the yellow and read, it has a similiar color scheme to the alex gundam. the big gun thing reminds me of the mix providence

  • ok lmao, this has ALOT of typos in my first comment, *Nix Providence

    *been cool*

    *and red

  • Reminds me of the 0gundam and a little mix from 00 gundam and added extra armor.

  • Dude that thing's armored to the teeth. I love it!

  • Dude it has no teeth...

  • It's an expression... But he botched it by saying "armored". It should be "armed to the teeth" by which this kit could easily be described, even though it doesn't litterally have teeth.

And if you were already aware of all that then I appologise for being ignorant... xD

  • @crapmunky99

Sorry man, just trying to be funny. BTW I think Devil Gundam has teeth...

  • Ah, indeed it does... At least when it wants to have them. xD

Really, Devil was one of the coolest, craziest Gundams around. It could be anything it wanted to be, and the artists came up with some really interesting designs for it.

Wish Bandai would make a decent model of it available; even the original 1/144 is discontinued now...

  • @crapmunky99

I currently own all 1:144 G Gundam kits now (Got Bolt and Spiegeal in Japan) and had the chance to buy Devil at a little over 1,000 yen (great price for a large kit). It doesn't look real good and way out of scale. There is a 1:400-ish (I think) in resin which looks great...

  • Huh... Well, I'm not ready to jump to resin kits just yet, but it's good to know anyway...

    :)

  • @crapmunky99

    True, True...

  • That is a kickass model

  • my god...this has got to be one of the best HGUC models out there....I mean the panel lining looks great, and the head and armor looks awsome...not to mention its great color scheme. This is probably a must get for me if I ever find it anywhere.

I amount of stickers annoy me though...the main reason I never use stickers is because they stick out too much since they're usually metallic. And they also peel off eventually...however, I will admit that the gray stickers are pretty good...

  • This Gundam came from the new PS3 gundam "Battle field record 0081' amazing game BTW. Hope Bandai will release this kit in MG in both standard type & heavy armor type. This HG kit is the heavy armor type BTW

  • ball-jointed, osilating ass thrusters GO!

  • I thought that this was the 7th review you've done on this kit, then I realized that it was the name of the kit... -_-;

  • lol

  • The shoulders remind me of the RX-78-4 and -5

  • It looks sort of like GP00 Gundam for 0083 MSV.

  • This is new kit guys, now I'm waiting for mine to arrive.

Nicely done on the details, Prime (nn,)b

  • it reminds me of how the avalanche exia is a bulked up model of normal exia

  • wow, very very nice.. i want this kit now and that hudge ass beam rifle thats attached to the ball joint..that reminds me of the providence gundams beamrifle/cannon thing because the way its designed

  • Seems like an older review or is that just me?

  • This looks like it came from the (Japan Only) PS3 game Gundam Senki 0081 if I am not mistaken.

  • prime you have most of the astrays are you going to get the mg blue frame

  • Shoulder armor looks like Heavyarms.

  • now thatu say that..ur right i does o_o

  • hey prime do u plan on getting the gp03 hguc anytime soon

  • I should review that one finally.

  • I want this model now!! T-T

    lol

nice review and i love how this kit looks

  • It's random to ask this, but can you make a tutorial series, like how to apply dry transfer decals

  • @GnomeSharkTOG u should watch vegeta8259 it has alot of those video types

  • its from a ps3 video game

  • What Gundam Series did this Gundam Come from?

  • It's from M-MSV

  • MrDeadzaku
