Bound = Stuck

Still, that doesn't take away at all from your interpretation. Like many of Hussie's other works and ideas, Homestuck probably means a multitude of things, your explanation surly being one of them.

When my friend introduced me to Homestuck I was in Act 4 and reading it on his phone. I got to Descend but it was at this crazy loud waterpark so i couldnt hear shit and it was tiny on the phone screen. At the end I saw that Jade was dead I just shut it and complained that Jade died and it wasn't fair.

If I only I would've realized it wouldn't be the only time a main character was going to die...

Well, the end of Act 1 song was the 30-second "Sburban Countdown", the end of Act 2 song was "Explore", and the end of Act 3 song was the full version of "Sburban Jungle". I was still pretty amazed by Explore and the EOA2, though.
