lol.....no other tabs on the song in google.........I'm trying to figure out the lead solo from watching your hands.......any chance of the tabs on just the lead solo, dude....
@lorryjay2009 Well, I could tab it out but I'm busy working on some stuff. Gimme $10 and I'll make a vid just for you and slow down the solo reaaaal slow so you can see it. ? Reason is, I'm rather broke right now and I gotta be working on some paying stuff right now. If not, that's cool. It's just the F shape then move that up 2 frets back and forth then the next position is the A bar shape across D, G and B strings.
@lorryjay2009 sorry. I don't use tabs. I just listen and figure it out. :( Maybe do a google search. I tuned my top string down a step and my whole guitar down a step so I'm playing it weird anyway.
This song has been one of my all time favorites. Yeah, Tim Pierce's guitar work on RS's songs is awesome. Your guitar playing was great and I think you nailed the solo. Great tone! Any chance you could post some tab to the "fast run" near the end of the solo? I've been trying to figure it out for a while now, but just can't seem to get it. Thanks.
One of the coolest unsung solos ever! I have tried forever to get that quick run down and your vid went a long way to helping me see it right. Thanks so much and great job!
@Orthokevin thanks. yeah, Tim Pierce was just a melodic rock solo monster. The thing is actually easy except for the chicken pickin part at the very end. I still didn't nail it. :)
Two thousand years of blind denial. You are following pale illusions. As you listen to the false preachers. You delight in this ignorant slavery. The enslavery that is chist. He is the ultimate deception of life. Adorning his empty words. Drown your mind his weakened holiness. The parasite of arrogance. Satan appears to halt this endless folly. Open your eyes and see the dark master. As he crushes your savior into the ground. The blood of christ washes along the shores of hell.
It is time for a new law and master. Your prayers are once again unanswered. Renounce the heavy chains of god. Do you think you're truly free bound on your knees? You are part of the problem. You are accepting of their lies. Sheltered ignorance poisons your mind. Rotting beside your hopeless guilt. With Lucifer you can ride, vulgar and blasphemous. Your faith will be forgotten, beaten once again. If I kneel, I shall summon my own power. Satan is our God and a savior of humanity.
@brianthemayan thank ya. Around 1983 I put this together with EMG pickups. DiMarzio body, warmoth solid rosewood neck, floyd rose (original). Several years back I put DiMarzio pickups in and really like them. The EMGs had less 60 cycle hum but MORE high end noise. These are your standard dbl coils I wired with switches to get dbl, single and parallel modes for each plus a les paul type toggle switch. It's not a bad ride but not my dream axe by far. thank ya
@TeesByTruthSurge Actually, the only track I have up is just regular metal. I have a few death metal tracks, but the majority of my writing is just straight metal. I'll send it to the TruthSurge account in a few minutes.
@TeesByTruthSurge Agreed, and others tend to really like what I do, they just don't want to spend time learning it. I could send you a link to what little I have available online if interested.
@TeesByTruthSurge That is an issue I have with a lot of grindcore bands is the complete lack of musicianship. I took a year of music theory in college and it did wonders to my songwriting. Many musicians I've played with don't like to learn my songs because they are too complex (not hard, just a ton to remember). They'd often tell me horseshit like "it's not 'true' if you design a song like that" and "it's gotta come from the heart, not the mind" showing they don't understand the point.
@TeesByTruthSurge No longer in a band so I don't play very frequently anymore, sadly. I did pick up my guitar yesterday for the first time in months and I played with little struggle, so that's a good sign.
I read about your fingerpads a while back, that sucks ass. I was actually in a large anhydrous ammonia spill a while back and can no longer regain my calluses on my fingertips no matter how much I play. Thankfully it doesn't hurt playing like it did when I first started out.
Very nice, Truth. I was envisioning playing some nasty alto sax in the background but I was wearing a nice Hawaiian flower shirt with shades on. If you can't picture that image, it's understandable. peace my nondelusional compadre.
@kegs666 is that a band? hehe I made up a good band name looong ago called Aborted Festus. That's a cool name. heheh Not sure what tune I'd like ta do next. Get A Job? hahahah
@TruthSurge Dying Fetus is good shit, technical death metal (arpeggio heavy). My death metal band in ND about a decade ago did have a song called Fetal Frenzy.
@kegs666 How about "Your Treachery Will Die With You"? :) Although I prob couldn't pull off the arpeggio sweeps in there due to my finger problems. :( But man, those sweeps are clean.
@TruthSurge Origin has some killer arpeggios as well. The most recent album I have (my band actually opened for them as well a few years back) is Echoes of Decimation. It's crazy watching them playing fast low notes and then going immediately to higher placed arpeggios.
YEAH

Man, you never fail to impress. You set a high standard, and you exceed it every time.
At first I was like, "yeah, I suppose this is cool," and then when you got to the solo I was like, "dude, that's some pretty sweet shred."
So do you play in a band that specializes in '80 dance music?
