Great video JC. I've watched all your vid's and this is one of my favorites. I'm going to Chiang Mai in May for the first time, Can't wait. Keep up the good work mate.
If you go to Pai, Mae Hong Son you have geysers, more waterfalls, ancient wooden coffins, at least a forest monastery and so on. I would love to see more videos like this! Keep up the great work!
HI JC, another great video. You know you made everyone envious when you ate all that great food. I love noodle soup. It's one of those meals I always have to find when in Thailand. At present I'm just down the road from you, I'm in Pattaya. Plan on making a trip up to Chang Mai and then over to Loei. Not sure when, I was suppose to make up that way after a month here put I just paid for a second months rent. Love all you videos, you do a great job.
Awesome viewing can't wait to go back to Chiang Mai when i intend to stay there for a while in a few months. Thanks JC definitely one of the best videos on youtube..
@retirecheapjc You're welcome JC i mountained biked 30km around the outskirts of Chiang Mai in Jan 2002 visited similar things you showed here brings back so many memories. Looking forward to living there soon and your videos are helping a lot.
This was one of the best hours I’ve ever spent watching YOUTUBE. The visuals where terrific. The short stops he made were informative, entertaining, and most of all…spontaneous and full of fun. Anyone can script adventure, but it comes across as what it is…scripted. JC’s road trips are not scripted in any manner, fashion, or form, and it shows in their originality and great sense of impulsiveness. Its reality TV that’s real…a rare find even for YOUTUBE.
JC, Merry Xmas 2011. Your channel is fast becoming my favourite thing to watch, including my $70 a month pay tv here in Australia. Keep up the good work in 2012.
I had French onion soup in Paris near the Trocadéro with a view of the Eiffel Tower at night lit up in blue stars--the cheapest thing on the menu for $15. I guess we were paying for the view because it had absolutely NO taste at all and when my daughter told the waiter in French, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. LOL Anyway, am glad to hear I will be able to get French onion soup that tastes good, in beautiful surroundings, served by nice people, for just $3. Made me smile! :-)
as always great video ! but my vote is to long , should have been in 3 or 4 parts more videos more hits . no disrespect intended i am a fan but an hr is way way to long an hr is two shows on the travel channel . not a lot of info in this one but it did look like a lot of fun and looked like something your fans would like doing them selves, i know i would . you should do more out having fun but please keep it under 20 min. short or long keep them coming
@retirecheapjc no problim your a good guy and it comes trough on camara. and you have realy brought your game up from the first video's last yr { 3 min intro for a 4 min video} lol but now you seem more polished ,a little more at ease ,more on message .pretty soon thares always an option will be the get'er done of any body thinking of moving to thailand .
Once again, loved the video JC. Can't wait till we get there to be able to do the same type of thing and just cruse the countryside at a nice leisurely pace and really soak in the sites.
@MrTecKnow We will see the response from others and I will decide whether to do more like this. Thanks, glad you liked it. You must have been like the first person to see it.
@retirecheapjc Loved the video JC, it reminded me of some of my adventures in the Philippines. But like you I prefer the Buddhist culture there in Thailand, it's way different from the P.I. That Teak house you were shown was really amazing craftmanship, just something you don't see here in the states.
Great video JC! Thanks for sharing!

Bigmouth351 2 months ago
@Bigmouth351 100 Baht is $3.20. Where did I make this mistake on the time line? Thanks for pointing this out.
