I am pretty upset to hear that, but I do understand though. I am sorry I am posting this late, but I do enjoy you EG work. It was awesome, it inspired me to start my own animating. Oo, a visual novel! Those are really fun, and they're much less time consuming. You don't really miss out on too much. The better ones are usually voice acted, too! :D I'm actually in the middle of writing one myself.

Do you think you'll put it together with a Flash program, so people can click through, save, and load game files? Or just assemble it as a video?

The picture story reminded me of something of a slide show, and that'd be fine. You shld have given us a preview of what it would look like, so we won't like hate it after you did it. I think this is a great alternative to quiting! it's a very smart comprimise! Although I'm sad you won't be fully animating it anymore I think this is a good idea, however just as a tip you mey find it easier to animate by useing macromedia flash! you can do a thing where you have the backgroung on the bottom layer then thave the moveing poeple as seperate parts it makes it realy easy to animate! trust me! aneway good luck!

Picture stories are awesome! They're kind of like motion graphics, which are pretty cool. Go for it! :) You know what you can do too? When the soldiers are gonna transform in this picture story you can just insert their transformation lol

you could do like a mini series. let's say, you take the characters from EG and instead of having long episodes with a plot line and such, you have it as if they are real people and they're on a reality show. the episodes will be shorter, so you don't have to spend too much time animating but it'll still have animation. just a thought ;)
