@crescendo2020 in what sense is it better than coheed ? its the same shit . all joey has is a better voice . none of 3's riffs are more complex than coheeds in my opinion . and joey eppard is not a better song writer than claudio . 3, The Mars Volta, and Coheed and Cambria are my favorite all time bands. They are not better than coheed by a large margin. each band is equally skilled . While coheed and 3 are equal in terms of live performance .

@face315 With the exception of a couple songs, 3's music has much more depth. Better vocals. More technical drumming. Slightly more intricate guitar. I don't dislike Coheed, but it's simpler music.

There are tons of groups with "high pitched" vocals. Neither Coheed, nor 3 have progressive style anything. Building to a crescendo doesn't really make any sense. A 'crescendo' is a rising in volume. Typically a crescendo is what one would refer to as 'building to something'. I think you meant, "Verses build/crescendo to a peak, apex, or climax."
