I still think the Ghost wizards one was hilarious. At first, I thought Dan made it up because he had nothing to do, but then I realized he just had no idea what it would do.
He did make it up. Dracula gave the ghost wizard an extra spell that the McNinjas hadn't prepared for, and it just happened to have the same name as the one Dan made up. That's what makes it so hilarious when Dan says "Oh yes."
No, think about it. First, he was reading the spell list, so he would know the spells they had. Second, the extra spell was the possession spell used to attack (Can't remember Dark Smoke Puncher's other name), so that wasn't it. Finally, if the wizard had three spells(not counting the extra possession spell), and Dan knew they had to learn twenty one spells in a few hours, than that meant he would know of the spell, because he knew the wizard would have a third spell.
Probably just Chris changing his mind halfway through writing the story, then. It's made abundantly clear that, at least when he first brings it up, he had made up the attack because he ran out of ideas. Mr. Hastings probably just saw how popular that panel was and decided "You know what? I'm gonna do that." It's definitely no coincidence that such a memetic line got mentioned later, and there's no way a writer can actually predict what will become popular.
@NARFNra The first spell was the winged shark attack. The second was the fireball. The third was Knife Eye Attack. The hidden spell was the possession spell. But then again, Chris has a habit of mentioning things that most people had forgotten about in later volumes. Remember the "shooting poison from the eyes" bit?.

@Socran actually, the ghost did the knife eye attack before Dracula granted it the fourth spell. the fourth was possessing Dark Shadow Puncher, well, at least use to possess him.
What I think of is the "Stop that!" line.
Dan: You really need to teach your little robots English. That Robot Language is the damned creepiest thing I've ever heard.
Robot sheep: BAAAH. MEEEP. BEEEEEP.
Dan: STOP THAT. *disapproval face*

I did that to my mom, and now my entire family does it. They say that line, and poke their heads. Hilarious XD

I always pictured it with a high-pitched tone of voice.
Like the kind you get with kung-fu-singers.
