I remember when Barbie changed their dolls' waists to be realistic and not give girls "false body images". At the time I thought they were nuts. And then Bratz came out.

They have an adittude, and you don't want little girls copying their clothes. the dolls don't have self respect, I think every single piece of clothing is smaller then their heads.... Barbie at least has careers and travels the world. She even has little fables to teach "lessons of friendship", bratz dolls just put glitter in their hair
Every doll make for girls these days has to be sold with the tagline that it's "empowering" to women. That's odd, since alot of these dolls have really trashy clothes.
@cenobite199 They also teach children to be really materialistic because of their obsession with shopping and makeup and clothes,etc.....but that's just my opinion:)
