You need to eat of the Bread of Life in Spirit, just as you need need to cleansed by His Holy Waters in Spirit. The Baptists are right, so are the Catholics, neither is a means to an end each is a representation of a mystery in another realm.
I reccomend to you that you study the history of the Church from day 1. Start with sacred scripture and see the writings of those that were taught by the Apostles themselves. Pay close attention to the Eucharist, which has been at the center of Christian life since day 1.
Many learned Protestants have become Catholic by this method, because they could not ignore the evidence which shows that Catholicism is Christianity as Christ established it and as the early Christians lived it.
@sharbel23 I am not learned in any way shape or form. I spent most of my life in prison and street when Christ intervened and changed me completely. I understand what I know now through the Spirit, not through following some structure or group of people. I was baptised Catholic but just before I was converted in the Spirit I got baptised again, first with water, then by His Spirit. He continues to help me stay on the narrow path.
