They are good games, just not good Twisted Metal Games. I kind of feel the same way about Twisted Metal Black, it was just too dark. Twisted metal 2 is the model for a Twisted Metal game, too me. Not overly dark, but it still has that dark humor in the whole "Be Careful What you Wish for." aspect. Thats the area that 3 and 4 went wrong, some of the wishes are just extremely idiotic and phrased in a manor that no one would ask in. Orbital is a great example of that.

Twisted Metal is just the right game, or the model for the series. I bet if they stuck to the Twisted Metal 2 model, it would be great. Twisted Metal 3 and 4 tries to use dark humor, but fails. I think after Twisted Metal Head On is the next best in the series or after Twisted Metal 1
