For generations most (not all)parents or kids(FUTURE PARENTS) fail to get a long term reference on American or World Social History to know such problems were extremely rare in the past & havent always been th norm. But history teaches us that problems that are TOLERATED long enough eventually become ACCEPTABLE, sometimes even DESIRED!
Why do people need to say crappy things about each other anyway... even IF no one but his friends would hear it. I've never understood why people think thats fun.
The guy's also a victim. What he did was wrong indeed even if he didn't mean it, and it's good he understood what he had done had really hurt the girl's feelings. But if I had been him I would've gone to the girls who had cried and told them:
"Don't cry, you're really beautiful no matter what they say. Don't listen to the guys, I'm sure you'll find someone who appreciates your inner and outer beauty"
Think before labeling someone, think if you really know them enough to label them.
People who do that are not friends! Friends are people who just like you for you, not because you want to fit in. and they can even put a family member on web and not tell you because they know u would get angry i would never want to do that that isn't what i call friendship at all they dont even have respect for your family i will never ever do that ever. :)
This reminds me of something I read in "7 Habits for Highly Effective Teens", where this guy wrote that his co-workers got him interested in porn, and he started joining them in catcalling girls and such…until one day they started doing that to his sister. He FREAKED! Lol.
