L4D for Windows runs through Valve's Steam client. It does have some similarities to XBL and PSN such as adding friends, joining their games, etc.

i got it from walmart...im having a wierd time with voices for some odd reason only russian voices load fine english or spanish doesnt seem to work it showed the spanish demo once never seen it again then the english demos shows when i change it but the voices don't work in game =[

it was like $30 @walmart be prepared dnt think its guna let u play right away it auto updates for like 4hrs seriously install it run it and go to a party cuz it takes for ever these updates are from april 2008 lol

should be fine, dont forget to boost the mic volume and test before entering a game, you want to make sure people will be able to hear you

yeah it works great u dnt even need a head set evryone just head phones will do or speakers. Just dnt be mean and have the speakers all the way up when ur talking cuz then u hear everything thru the mic and it gets annoying.

I recommend the push to talk option not the auto speaker option that sux when ur TV is on.
