0:48 "It's a tricky one to land". It's easier to land this online than the Ultimate Atomic Buster. Online is so full of predictable Ken/Ryu player that I know they'll Shoryuken as soon as they get up if I just jump over them. I land it more than I miss it.

@Drakulbites It's not at all easier to land than the Ultimate Atomic... you can try to predict anyone who tries to dragon punch, fine... but if you have a cody, abel, chun li, its super hard. I really love it tho, but I find its really hard to pull off. But when you pull it off in Ranked Matches online, I try to imagine the other players face! LOL

@disgustika I use it in every Ranked match unless I'm fighting Cody, Abel, Makoto or Balrog. Everyone else is quite easy to pull the SB on. Any move that takes feet off the ground connects, including dashes. Blankas ball attacks, Hondas headbutt, Chuns Bird Kick and so many more.

People jump as Zangief stands up after being knocked down so he can't grab them. I found I could do the SB as I stood up and he shoots right up and grabs them. That's when I imagine my opponents face lol.

A solid, ryu, ken, chunli, blanks will give him a very hard time. At the start Zangief was top, but as people got better he's nothing more than mid tier.

Like it or not, no single character in the game apart from DAN (who is a joke anyway) has as many biased matchups.

Plus Zangief always has to attack first. Its easy to chip damage then turtle. Seriously, when you get pretty good at the same he has major holes.

This ultra could have some very scary practical applications. Considering it's easier to jump out of SPD, a wise player would anticipate with this move. It makes getting hit by a standing SPD seem less damaging in comparison...scary mind games.
