  • UMMM!! I couldn't finish the video because of UMMM!! However, your is pretty!

  • I STARTED THE RAW FOOD DIET 6 MONTHS AGO N MY HAIR HAS STARTED GROWING ABOUT AN INCH A MONTH, B4 THAT I CANT SAY THAT IT GREW A 1/2 AN INCH.

  • Have you tried adding water to the gel so that it is not so stiff?

  • I wish you could have to use how you define the curls

  • WWOOOWW!!!!!!!

  • hahahahaha OMG sooo weird....u look like my eighteen year old sister ! LOL :)

  • Yo hair is BeauTeeFul.. N so R U.

    Yo curls R LovelysenDin Blessings 2U

  • I love the way you speak and you are beautiful, with big brown eyes love you hair it's exactly like mine.

  • you are so funny! great personality :)

  • Geeks rule the world!! Keep studying girl :)

  • Would you mind doing an actual demonstration for us. And have you found any

better gels? I love your post they are very helpful.

  • Your curls are beautiful!!!

  • Anyone know if aloe vera works for this?

  • could you do a tutorial on you exactly apply the eco gel?

  • I was using eco styler and I switched over to kinky curly. i like the kinky curly much better.

  • try the olive oil eco styler

  • If you are still interested in body frequencies, checkout binaural beats. I listen to a meditation binaural beat that is very relaxing.

  • Maybe try UFD curly magic. If gives me great curl formation without the heavy crunch

  • Wow she says "um" alot! Love the video tho!

  • Try Long Aid Activator sold at Walgreens on freshly washed and conditioned hair. Doesn't matter whether it's wet or dry hair. Saturate your hair with the activator first, then use the styler gel. You'll get the smae exact results with completely soft and moisturaized hair. To refresh, just wet with water and shake and go.

  • I know it's a late response to this video, but I use the same eco gel in this video. Anyway, i was in a hurry one day and didn't want to take a chance with flakes, so i added olive oil (from my kitchen) to the entire gel tub. I never got a chance to try the gel as it is (so i can't say if it flakes on my hair).

I've never had flaking with the white eco gel and olive oil mix, so go ahead and try mixing both and see if the flaking stops.

Btw, the crunchiness give me something to mess with.

  • that sounds like an AWESOME class

  • My hair kind of spirals on its own but I coudln't figure out how to separate the curls. Your videos are very very helpful. thank you very much.

I hope you wouldn't mind showing how you do the blowdrying portion. Do you clip the hair so that you can manipulate the part you're drying. thanks.

  • Your videos are Soooooooo informative and the Bomb!

  • i hate using gel on my hair is just so gloppy but i like long aid gel. it keeps the hair really soft and lasts longer than eco and other gels!

  • Lovely white teeth! ;)

  • I feel on the toastmasters bell truezeal lol!

  • you have lovely skin

  • yea my denman brush split right in the middle!

  • I love stuff like that.I study stuff like that too.

  • How long do the curls last?

  • hair twin! finally :)

  • how do you post pictures on you tube in a video format? I would really like to find ppl with hair like mine so I can know what products that would work well with it. I think I'm a 4a, but could be wrong bec the 4a's on here look more like 4b and 3c sometimes. Also I haven't been natural long and I'm excited to see results of how it could look later :) Help?

  • I really don't like the way you talk about your natural hair. Maybe if you give it a couple more deep condition sessions or stop using drying products, it would be "tough 4b hair"

  • @babyg57 please

  • Love your video and hair. I use the same products. Try Long Aid Activator Gel under the Ecostyler. Same hold, but is much much softer.

  • Thanks for the vid! I've got very short natural hair, and I've been trying to work out how to use my ecostyler. Even your comments have some good tips in them! I hope you keep us posted on your progress.

  • GURLLLLLLLLL< me and you have the exact same hair. It mine me crunchy in like 2 days. Please if u find something that will make this hair look softer. it would be great

  • You can also try mixing a plain cone and sulfate free conditioner with your favorite 100% oils with your gel to reduce crunchiness... For mixing inspiration, check out prettydimples01 home made gel conditioning method.. U can mix how u like.

  • They ( Sallys) sells an Eco Sylyer gel and it is green ..it has olive oil in it and it does not get cruchy and it has great curl definition and your hair drys soft

  • Ur hair is really nice and healthy..but chill with the "UMMMM"s...was driving me crazy!

  • Ummm is not an answer! Gyrl the bell would have been ringing all of the time in toastmasters

  • @gnobles01 looooool hahahaha i was thinking the same thing um um um lol but yeah love ur hair

  • @gnobles01 umm, that's how she talks....um, duh

  • i love your hair. we have the same exact texture.

how many inches is you hair?

  • I agree with Rays4487 regarding your "tough" hair. It looks gorgeous and soft. Oil and moisture will prevent breakage even better than gel.

Having said that: If you're on Nappturality you might want to try Shae's Pudding, which is a homemade recipe. To date this is the only thing I've used that gave me shine and hold and didn't make my hair crunchy...plus it's affordable compared to KCCC.

My texture is similar to yours but that brush scares me. How long did it take to do your whole head?

  • If you like the Eco Styler wih Olive Oil. It doesn't leave your hair crunchy at all.

  • I haven't thought about adding oil to alleviate some of the crunch. Thanks for that tip!

  • add oil before you put the gel on to alleviate some of the crunch

  • Have you ever worn your hair without the gel? I was looking at the side of you hair without the gel and it looked so soft, fluffy, free, and fun :-). You have such a pretty face that you would look good with or without the gel

  • I go without gel only in the summer opting for drawstring ponytails. I find that my ends and hair folicles are forced to lay down preventing dry out & end breakage when protected with gel. Puffs are fun, though.

  • Girl, i did the clear gel and i was CRUNCHY!!!! I'll tell you what works .... Kinky Curly Curling Custard. I did it and it's AWESOME. moisture retention, shine, curl definition for DAYS!! Try it.

  • try the eco-styler olive oil gel. . . it doesn't crunch at all
