Amazing, no one applauded at the end of the rousing first movement. Usually some listeners will be emotionally moved and clap until they notice that no one else is clapping. Well trained concert goers.

I have seen many performances of this concerto through the years including Maxim Vengerov's Proms debut with Termikanov's St. Petersburg Phil. in the mid. 90's. That performance was rapturously received but it was no better than this interpretation by Mullova.
