nice job on everything, the ballista was awesome, but a well engineered Trebuchet can out throw a ballista by atleast double, Try a single membered throwing arm next time, instead of the ladder crap you had :p
how about an atmosperic balistic friction calculated into your formula to compensate for your egg flip flopping through the air, rather than a spiral effect as a football. It would have been interesting to capture the egg in flight n,est ce pas?

your trebuchet Sucks... 2x4's are perfectly fine. You just need to remove you little useless 2x4 that restricts its motion. The pouch should open and release naturally. However, your ballista is very good.
