What is required to use the OSC protocol? I want to conect PD and processing through OSC, but i cant find the way. Is needed an aditional software for OSC or you can do the conections in the settings of each softwares?
Help!!!!
Soy de Venezuela, agradecería también cualquier ayuda en español.
I think it is much different way to grow ... it could be interesting much, for me, if there was larger pattern, probably working with tweezers and also more instruments at once (two at least). this could be also great for making techno, ambient, abstract or experimental sounds (in band with classical instruments).. but truly nice
Wonderful project. One thing, however. The pitch key at the left and the aural result don't match. The scale displayed is an F major scale. the scale heard is D major. That is, of course, easily fixed.
In the eyes of a young school kid that would be absolutely magic. I love reactivision and reactable stuff - i've been playing around with it for a while now but at the moment i'm just getting angry with PureData more than anything... so complicated.
Great stuff anyway :) it should be in primary schools everywhere!
nice project.. the idea is great.. converting the position of reactivion numbers to midi data which appears on a score.. but in fact I think that It could be more interesting if instead of just recognizing the objects position, you pick up this concept and add a bit of generative algorrithms to it, in order to create something more organic
I feel like you could have come up with a better idea to use this technology with.

Check out the OSC object in PD. Search google for OSC and PD and/or OSC processing and you'll find lots of information.

Yeah I'm well aware ;) I had to change it at the last minute. Pretend their transposing instruments. :)
