This movie is great on DVD, with the extras... behind the scenes of the actual underwater caverns they filmed in ... and the creature design! Whereas, The 'Cave' used actual cenotes along with created sets, the 'Descent' relied on a set entirely...and not a real cave! In fact, some of the sets were used twice, but altered to appear as though the characters had entered another chamber in the 'cavern.' The 'crawlers' made The Descent rather creepy.... but I love the mutated beastied in this film!
