This was the first song I ever listened to from The Magnetic Fields. I remember dancing in joy around my living room because there was actually more music out there like this song, music that was sweet and catchy and original, with lyrics that were smart, hilarious, yet unexpectedly heartbreaking. I've listened to their whole repertoire now, and it's even better than what I expected.

This song and "group" is one of those little hidden gems in pop music that is a gleaming shining star that the general public WISHED they knew about. BRILLIANT songs!
