The 90s...a weird decade after the cold war and before the war on terror when the US had few ennemies and were loved in most parts of the world. So yes, the rock reflected well that decade, just like the terminator, independance day, MIB etc...

@DarkCreatorn /Yes it most definately does, and its just as deadly as they describe it in the movie but it takes alot more liquid to kill a large percentage. instead of a tea spoon of the gas liquid itself, itd have to be at least 12 ounces to kill anyone within 8 blocks of where its released. and this stuff kills in a very painful way from how it looks
