i think u should check on the properties of the folder then click the "costumize" in the far top-right of property then click the "change icon"botton in the bottom part then choose the white icon,..then rename your folder to " ` " a key left of # 1 and top of tab key hope this helped,..=)

or if you hold alt and press "0160" (without the quotes) on the keypad then it automatically has no letter in the name, this works on xp and vista, not sure about 7 but it probably will.

i had windows xp and i had some hidden folders, then i put these files on a memory stick , i then got a new laptop which had vista and i cannot make the files appear =[

after u insert the memory stick, open up my computer, then open up the memory stick...u should see all the unhidden files. Then do the "Alt...show hidden folders" process as listed in the video. the files should be there...if not...ur files are gone

take your usb to a public xp computer, unhide it and then save it to your usb.

you will need a docklet called "stackdock" which will take a folder and display the objects in either a fan or grid much like the mac...just google search stackdock download and then paste it into the "docklets" folder in the program files

just open a random folder, go through the "alt" procedure and change it to "view hidden folders". When this option is selected, all hidden folders in any location on the comp are revealed
