Fun fact: he is a skilled martial artist, but the character, Wilson Slade, aka Deathstroke, also has limited defensive precognition. That is, he can see an attack a few seconds before it happens. This kinda means that you'd have to use something really big and/or really powerful, and/or REALLY fast to actually hit him. Which is why not even the Supergirl-esque Starfire can beat the guy.

Which in and of itself is moronic, seeing how fast Starfire is in both comic and cartoon. Her losing to Slade is sheer plot induced stupidity.
