Cool! I have a question though, with the AVR's A2D converter, what voltages are you getting on the output? Would they be sufficient to make a "beat detection" sketch with the Arduino or would an actual circuit for that be better?
I am asking because I am making a Christmas light controlling relay box that reacts to music.
