Americans are a very interesting and unique people I must say. Although I understand their stance on their right to bear arms, I also understand the political dilemma, since statistics tell me that about 100.000 Americans annually are victim of gun related incidents, with at least 30.000 deaths annually. However the majority of this incidents occur in backward and poor suburban areas, which is understandable, since the minority in the US are pretty much ignored.

I take all those things seriously too, and when they are threated, I'll be right there with everybody else. But it's just not happening. As for the pistol carrying dog, I gotta admit is was a little funny, but it was also reckless endangerment. I have handguns, and would never do that. It was just stupid.

The only reason the town of Alamogordo exists is because of big Government spending on defense (it's a military town). I'm sure they weren't concerned about their children's financial future when they fought hard to get the ridiculously expensive fleet of F-22 raptors stationed there. How would you feel if everyone hid there guns under there coat? You would never know what's coming. Wouldn't you wish you had a gun to protect yourself? And what if the guns are illegal. HA!!!...first off, I have no balls to drop...I'm a woman...and was raised by descendents of a tough frontier family in the west. I've had guns since the 22 single shot given to me on my 10th birthday.
I stand for the right to bear arms....but these people with their little boy displays will lead to guns being banned or more tightly controlled. They are babies who are trying to look macho.
Oh, and I served 13 years in the Marine Corp and am fully trained on most weapons.

Like I said, no one is trying to take away guns. I'm a "liberal", I guess, and also have weapons to protect myself and my family. I don't feel the need to carry a gun in public because if someones going to rob me at gun point, I assume they'll already have a gun pointed at me. If they have a knife and I shoot them, I'll go to jail because of the "like force" law. The LAST thing we need is a bunch of paranoid yahoos like the ones in this video carrying guns around town.

About 70 years or so ago, the taxes were MUCH lower because the government wasn't trying to take care of people. They let the community do it, as it should be.
