@SteamingSoda It's in the rules of the game, if you catch the ball after it kicked 15+ metres (A mark) you get to kick the ball without running the risk of getting tackled.

As for the goal, It's treated as a joke because this is a charity match, featuring retired players and local celebrities of sorts. This isn't a professional game of Australian rules football.
