It's the XBox version... you see it on the way the character is moving. It's not the smooth motion of a mouse controlled character. Also I suspect there are some artifacts from recording from an HD video signal.

Yeah, but what if Episode 3 is 60 bucks? You just know, it's going to be 6 hours or so long. The shortness sucks! Eps. 1 and 2 were short as hell, but the best FPS games I'v every experienced. I hope Episode 3 is longer then 1 and 2. A lot longer! Can't wait for the Artic adventure. But don't want to blaze through it in 1 sitting! HL will look great covered in ValvE made snow! Should remake part 1 too!

This game alone is worth $50 bucks, and although its short, it beats the pants off bioshock. Not to mention that you still get Team Fortress 2 and Halflife 2, Halflife 2 Ep. 1 and Halflife 2 Ep. 2. Reasons why: a completely void research facility must draw some attention from the outside if all the workers are dead... Another guess concerning the combine relations to the technology is that Aperture science may actually be the employer of the gman.
