@runnelscharles dont prune the leaves, only the smalles bottom most branches should be pruned at that stage, you can put rooting hormone on those cuttings and turn them into clones. pruning those branches will also shoot growth hormones up into the other branches and let them get bigger. super cropping techniques bro, look up super cropping techniques for marijuana online.

great tip...one I have used in growing flowers for many years. No need to cut the top to get double main kolas ..just bend it over creating a new apex ( highest point on plant)..that new bud //branch now becomes dominant more energy goes to there..you can really size up a plant doing this...just need a little more time and proper nutrients... doesn't overly stress your plants greatly increases yields. Hope you immature little kiddies w/ asinine comments are taking notes.

the most extreme thing I might do is remove a 1/3rd or more of the center stock going into flowering or topping it early in veg. also, a little known fact. 600w tend to have about 12 inches of useful light penetration and 18" for 1000W, any foliage or shoots below that can be pruned.

a lot of these methods such as scrog and supercropping do work but are done at the expense of time. What I mean is, in order to safely and effectively practice supercropping or scrog you have to have larger plants and longer veg times, you may yield more but you get less crops per year, even with a multi room stagger you you lose out on time. lots of short plants and basic topping is still better when you do the math.

i have a fairly large bloom room & I Always tie my ladies down after a week or so into bloom. Depending on the strain, tying can really increase your yield. It really helps keep the canopy even, and lets light into the inner parts/bottom buds.

In my perpetual bloom room i'm averaging 50 grams per plant, and i'm only using 525 watts total for bloom, I Love T5 florescent's, 6-7 plants blooming at all times, dj short's blueberry, ak47, super lemon haze, purple power haze, and casey jones.

Great old trick and definitely worked on my plant over 12 years ago. Along with fish guts, egg shells, manure. My plant was almost growing at about a 30 degree angle and the plant really takes off with tying down. I ended up with a 17lb yield right after harvest, but the overnight hanging in the garage left me with over 9lbs, off 1 single plant - I highly recommend the tying.

I've been using this method for years, it works great, and also helps save tons of headroom but I've noticed it can actually reduce final yield if used on a main cola dominant strain like Serious Seeds Chronic or Dinafem's Moby Hash.

Yes you get multiple tops by topping, LST'ing or fimming... and usually this results in a bigger yield...BUT if done on a main cola dominant strain it can reduce yield... example I have a Moby Hash mother, I take 10 clones from her, I LST 5 of them resulting in 7+ tops each, and do nothing to the other 5 clones resulting in 1 main top each. When finished the dry weight from the five LST'd plants = 315g whilst the dry weight from the 5 untouched plants = 375g.

have you ever tried a scrog? would that be a better (lower) plant:yield ratio, meaning less plants more yield? that is if you have a plant # restriction, if you are not worried about the number of plants would it still be beneficial to do this or just have more plants? is there a sweet spot? guess it depends on several variables like pot size and room dimensions really ... but would you suggest trying a scrog or sticking with the basic hydro/soil grows and applying this technique?
