  • Can ya put lyrics in the description? I love this song but im too lazy to make my own :)

  • @98bennyj

I tried posting but there are too many words and youtube has a limit. Let me think of a way around this....

  • OK...got it up there now. Thanks!

  • @vanwags No,no,no! Thank YOU!

  • Great song.. Still remember trying to get some sleep and looking out my bedroom window and seeing the street looking like a river. I will never lose the image of that for as long as i live.

  • Suggested title "Call to Action". Leave the ringing phone at the end.

  • Omg THIS IS MY TEACHER!

  • All the comments about building near rivers aside, industrializing increases flooding and droughts as a byproduct. Roads are designed to move water off them as quickly as possible, same as parking lots, buildings, towns, cities, ect. Anytime you put a building down you're going to increase local flooding and droughts as a byproduct. Which in reality is why we're having such difficulty with both extremes on the spectrum.

  • Great Song Van. U got a great song title in the Song"The Riveris Anger". As for you StellaCarbonic. We do not live below sealevel like those in other areas and the good people of Danville and the Surrounding areas that were flood do not need you to attack them. God would want you to extend yourself to them as people have for others in LA and other places that have been touched by floods or anything from Nature in General.

  • awesome song Van. Hard times. Still soggy all over PA....

  • Great video, great song! Yep, I agree, Angry River seems like a great title. Wish I would have been able to view this sooner. God bless everyone going through the cleanup after this horrific flooding. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  • Great song! Angry River? Short and simple. I love the guitar work, and the harmonica, vocals rocked also. The images topped it off. The display of unity is within the community is really inspiring!I used to drive a truck through that whole area and many a year saw how the river would wreak havoc on the surrounding towns but, this year I no longer drive through there. If I did my company would've been paying me to haul sandbags even if they didn't know it. Again, great song and images. Ty for th

  • My heart goes out to all and everyone.....I did not stay home nor did I sight see. I went to work where I was needed to help others. I love your video....You care!

  • @motherinparadise YES we beat the all time record Bloom hit 32.75 when in 1904 it was 32.70ft

  • I was born in Danville many years ago, and when I heard about the flooding I wanted to know how the town fared. Your slide show/videos/ and song informed me and entertained me at the same time! Great job!! Love your voice, and guitar and harp work!

  • Brown Water Rising

  • angry river sounds good to me. good song my man. i am not much of a country fan. but it deffinetly cought my attention.

  • I love this is song, Van! Reminds me of one of my favorites, Bob Dylan. The harmonica sounds great, too. I'm from Danville myself, though I'm lucky enough to live on a hill. Maybe "She's in Charge Again"? We'll get through it :)

  • looks like the "Highwater Blues" hit ya. good luck Things will get better. I likw Wags song too

  • Every community needs a Van Wagner to be there for them to express their feelings through the sad and the happy times. Van, thank you for the beautiful words and music that is helping us through this weekend. Lynn and Sis

  • My family loves this sweet town. We live on Long Island and visit Knobels every summer. Part of our tradition is dining at BJ's Steak & Rib House and walking along the riverfront on Front street. I hope things get better for you all.

  • Awesome song Van! Not sure on what the title could be. I live in Millville but, I have family that lives in Danville. I have some videos of some of the damage around Millville, Benton/Orangeville, and Montoursville if you want to check them out. Its awesome to see everyone from "all walks of life" helping out one another. My thoughts go out to everyone!!

  • Cool song Van. I used to live across the street from you up on Overlook many years ago. I think I have one of your CD's too. Many years ago when I lived there and was volunteering with the FD I remember when we thought it was going to flood big and we busted out that flood wall across Rt 11 closing the gap in the dike. I remember helping to set that thing up.

Good luck to everyone in Danville. I sometimes actually miss living there.

  • Title "Who's In Charge,(the River looks Angry).") Awesome ,i'm down river from ay ,but we got the mess also, good reminder of who's in charge.

  • "The River Looks Angry"

  • Great job on that tune and our hearts go out to all the flood victims.

  • The problem with flooding is mankind. Look at the big picture. If you live near a flood prone river, expect to get flooded occasionally.

  • @stellarcarbonic

can we talk about this some time other than during the flood? Leave my town alone.

    Van

  • What a great song about a sad subject! Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in danville and the Susquehanna Valley effected by this monumental flood. We were there for the flood of '06 and this is much worse. My heart breaks for our beloved home from 2005 until 2010.

    God Bless,

    -The Campbells

  • Hey Van, Song Title " The Mighty Susquehanna" Thanks for sharing the video. I live long the Schuylkill River. check out my videos I have a few up on our flooding. Wish your people up your way all the best.

    God Bless,

    Len.

  • I was there in the summer of 72' with hundreds of others sandbagging down by the river all night long. Back then the old high school 1st floor was completely under water no gym, library, cafeteria no band room. All destroyed. 2nd ward was virtually wiped out. Agnes is one of the most significant events of my life. The caring and helping hands of people in small towns like Danville is why I will always be proud to be a "Danville Ironmen".

  • It is amazing how something as beautiful as YOUR VOICE is able to escort such a scary and very sad flood video with storytelling, hand holding, gentility.

This is the backbone of a movie !!

  • Amazing song and compilation. Prayers from the mountains near the Wyoming Valley...

  • Beautiful song, beautifully done. I can't believe how many towns have been affected by the flooding. I pray for everyone. I agree with previous post "The River Looks Angry" would be a fitting title.

  • Thanks for the fine song & video. I spent many youthful hours on the banks of the Susquehanna & it's dear to my heart. I hope everyone up there is okay.

  • "The River Looks Angry" is what i surmised is the title. So sad to see and hear of flooding in any of the towns i travel through or have visited. Wondering where the road is washed out and whether or not I'll have to bypass 54? Prayers for and thoughts with anyone flooded out.......

  • Last comment by jvmucom0927 15 minutes ago actually by myself I had another persons account signed in and didn't realize it.
