why do they take so long to start then ? i completely love these beauties, but i know very little about them tbh ..

@LinuxManUK well it's the engine thats really cold and because it's getting old a bit
@scotsguardsman100 not only that, when diesel oil is cold it gets thicker and therefore more harder to combust

@ACTractionLTD Diesel isn't combustible like petrol is, the engine uses compression...

@LinuxManUK these old ladies were not designed to be shut down,back in the 60's and 70's when oil was cheap they were just left to run 365 days a year, the americans overcame the problem by fitting heaters to the cooling water circuit.

@TheYouwillsuffer Yeah, it started really popping out of one of the exhausts and then it back fired and flames came out of it
if al gore seen that thing smoke he would have a shiting hartatack. lol
@TheYouwillsuffer haha lol. I think we nearly had a heartattack because as soon as i stopped recording it backfired and flames came out
