  • ITS GOT A JIT ENGINE

  • Ron Jeremy waving the flag at the finish???????

  • wonder what ' health & safety ' make of that ... :o)

  • Obviously my dear professor Bruce this is design of pulsoreactor. It is always a pleasure to follow U here or on RcModelReviews. Keep the Spirit Alive. Thank You

  • The Beard Wins !!

    :)

  • I AM MAKIN ONE ON A HOVERCRAFT! BEAT THAT!

  • @InventorLJ I already did. Check this channel for the pulsejet-powered hovercraft.

  • @xjet have you made EVERYTHING? How about a rocket powered wagon? Also, can I drive your next thingy- majig?

  • @xjet also, I am only twelve and have just what I can find at Lowe's to build these things...

  • LUCKY DUCK!

  • I'm sure the retiree's that bought that nice lake house across the way are appreciating the unbearably loud screams of that pulse jet engine rattling their windows...

  • I was waiting for a catastrophic jet explosion to eliminate the weird little child in the gay little boat.

  • @BrandonFound Google 'Dominion Post Matthew Drummond'

Matt was close friends with my 2 younger cousins. Needless to say I don't imagine they'd appreciate reading your remark.

  • that kid has such a punchable face

  • @pyromanizak What is your problem? o.0

  • Put one of them on a bicycle!!!! We actually have a canoe and would love to put that pulsejet on a canoe. Awesome video and thanks for uploading

  • That was too cool!!! A pulse jet powered Kayak now thats a good way to motor hands free. You should strap the German V-1 on that thing.

  • Great video! Another reason I miss home - they'd never do this over here, not with a kid strapped in!

Duly subscribed after seeing the Vampire flying - in the 70's there used to be one on display at Woodbourne outside Blenheim. Beautiful plane.

I've got a lot of your vids to get through!

  • @mcsnowman11 G'day... Aren't we the impatient one ? Try watching the 2nd half of the clip. Read the Description ! You spat the Dummy over the Test-Run. It's an AMPHIBIOUS Jet Kayak. @xjet... Munchekin, if I hadn't flown in a Victa 120 Powered, 2-Axis Control Aeroplane, with Single-Surface Aerofoils, I'd be able to say wou were as Meat as a Mad-Axe...; but, as things stand, WOW, I'm impressed ! Your Eccentricity is approaching Legendary proportions !

  • Well, i do belive that is nothing likea kayak, and it is not even on the water...

  • Seems the power of this engine is not much better than olympic kayaker's rowing strength. :(

  • @Austyg jet engines are not best-suited to slow vehicles like a Kayak. The difference between the olympic rower and the jet engine is that the olympic rower will produce no thrust at all at 100mph but the jet engine will still be pulling strong ;-)

  • why put a pulse jet on wheels, that's what internal combustion is for. put it on a boat.

  • Great stuff, gives me a few idwea of my own

  • that makes up for how quit all the other kayaks are.

  • What a bright idea... use a kid in your simply experiements... and risk his life. One word....idiot!

  • @MarshaRandolph thats pretty funny from someone in the fashion industry, dont you have 15yo's to be using up instead of drinking haterade and watching youtube?

  • Whoop whoop whoop.

    ...let me guess.

  • Ever take it off any sweet jumps?

  • Actually, I'd be willing to bet he set the ONLY jet kayak land speed record.

  • Sorry, I did not mean any disrespect, xjet, I actually think you are an interesting person. I am interested in this type of science, but it seems as though any experimentation that includes flammable liquids or gases has historically quite literally blown up in my face. Again, no disrespect meant.

  • @TheDogsnout2 No worries -- hope you have better luck with your experiments in the future.

  • FUCK THIS

  • @TheDogsnout2 Might I suggest that to engage in such an action may result in significant burns to a rather sensitive part of your anatomy. I recommend you reconsider your stated course of action before hurting yourself.

  • That thing needs wings.

  • Screw the kayak! Stap some controls onto that and let him fly!

  • This reminds me of the

    Super

    Hydraulic

    International

    Transporterlator

from cat in the hat X-)

  • This thing got wheels!?

  • @resistanceleader4 You dont see them ?

  • That accent makes me want to dig my ears out with a red hot knitting needle.

  • @taipan185 why dont you stick it up your arse before you do that

  • it doesn't go in the water?

    oh... it does.

  • he should go faster

  • lucky kid

  • I wonder what would happen if you put that kayak on a hyrdafoil... if he had enough speed for the foils to raise it out of the water he could go much faster.

  • @jarrodcorl look up hydrokayak. They work fine, due to the mass of boat (around 10-12kg) compared to the area of the foils.

  • lol i loved the glasses magically moving from his eyes to his hair and back wile he was racing. impressive!! also i was curious as to what the effect would be of adding water into the jet as sorta an afterburner. basically more expanding gas more power!!

  • shouldnt it be in water?

  • 0:07 who is the orange guy?

  • Now if the kayaker was in a proper K1 instead of a surfski, he easily could have been way more competitive.

  • british style gnar-rad type narration

  • cool accent :)

  • thats fast kayaking

  • THATS IT i'm building on this winter when i'm locked in my garage for a few months! Doin it thats all there is to it!

  • PUT THAT ON MY YAK!!!

  • Bruce

    Brilliant Thank Again!

    Nice job!

  • maybe you could use all the heat made from the pulse jet and put it all at the bottom of the kayak creating the leidenfrost effect so there will be less friction. maybe even 2 pulse jets

  • Hey Bruce, thanks for putting this up, nice work. Brilliant episode thanks to you! Luke

  • You are a man of extremes Xjet

  • Good stuff , missed that episode on Tv

  • try build hydro-jet tubro boat

  • Very exciting and fun to watch.

  • Nicely done!

  • Hehehe cool, were you ever on junkyard wars on the US side?

  • @Skydive4ever I worked on the "Drag Boats" episode of Junkyard Megawars and basically had to build a large pulsejet for the show in less than a day -- because the team I was helping just had no clue at all how to fabricate an engine. There's video elsewhere on my channel showing some "behind the scenes" footage from that episode.

  • this took a while to be uploaded lol

its been like what... 5-6 months?

  • @d3jsp Yeah, had to wait for the program to air on TV here so as not to give the game away ;-)

  • @xjet

    i see!

    cool! lol

  • Great vid. Awesome race.

  • awesome!

  • LOL,well done Bruce and man was Steve really moving in that water in the kayak ;-) thumbs up mate.

  • well done lads!

  • Wicked vid Bruce. Well done mate.

  • XDXDXD!

  • This was one of my favs of the hole show.

  • @TheExtremeAnimation See told you Bruce post video's of the show ;-)

  • @startazz Yea of the Jet powered hover craft not the kayak. I said on one of my comments this guy helped make a pulsejet powered kayak

  • @TheExtremeAnimation yeah i know and i also said he would and has posted video's of it ;-) see so we didn't need you to try and tell us all about it lol,but i can sort of understsand why you would be excited about it ;-)

  • @startazz But some people might not of known about the Kayak. So I was just telling them

  • @TheExtremeAnimation Yeah i know i'm sorry ;-)

  • @startazz >_>

  • I remember seeing this on TV a few weeks ago. The first pulsejet you tried looked very cool, but sadly it failed. Could you make one work that looks like that fist one you tried on the kayak, and put it on a plane? And is it more powerful/does it deliver more power than your normal everyday single tube pulsejet, like the second one you tried on the kayak that worked?

    Thanx

  • nice video !

  • That was quite enjoyable
