I actually didn't like much of the first album Tarja did after leaving NW. A lot of the songs seemed uninspired and more of just a statement that 'hey, solo now!' What Lies Beneath was a really amazing album though. I've heard she did more work herself composing and writing for the new one than she did on MWS. If so, it really shows. I'm glad too. I have no idea what the real story was with NW (same as no one else does either), and it's good to see her back at it in earnest.
