  • My friend is driving one and I was pretty unimpressed with it. The engine is brilliant and the sound of the turbos is cool, but for a luxury crossover SUV breaking a $30k base, I was disappointed in lots of it. The stupid entertainment system is poorly designed, the ride quality is pretty stiff and kind of harsh, it is louder than you'd expect in a luxury car, and the dashboard is made of plastic. The seats were manual and they were unfomfortable. I just don't get this car.

  • I have an RDX and the thing rocks. There is nothing like SH-AWD. If you are looking to go cheap on gas, this is not your car. If you want to enjoy driving, this is a great choice. The problem with getting a MKX is that at the end of the day you're stuck with a Ford product.

  • The only reason that the Japanese assemble some of their vehicles in North America is due to lower tariffs on parts versus finished products, thus the economics and not out of a kind sentiment to provide jobs. Even the Wall Street JOurnal, BusinessWekk, and Economic publications agree that our economy and well being is more reliant upon the Big Three AMERICAN companies. You can get a Lincoln MKX w/ the incentives at the same price and it's nicer. Disgusting that you'd sell-out your own people.

  • Just noticed you're supposedly an American. Why would you buy Japanese and support people that tortured our POWs (in my own families lifetime), kill whales, and practiced cannibalism (through the 1940s)? You can support your own companies - Ford, GM, and Chrysler and do more for the American economy. Shameful!

  • Stop living in the past. If Americans made half way decent cars i would be more than happy to shell out money on them.

On the plus side American cars offer great cash back as well as other incentives. BUT THEY SUCK.

Its only now that Ford is making a decent comeback and making safe and reliable cars. But that is NOW. If that holds, then you will see a lot more people being "patriotic" and seeing their money at work.

  • Shameful? Really?? What is truly shameful is you thinking that nothing has changed over the last 60 years in the world. Japanese cars are superior. Bottom line. They are made better and more reliable. And to even further embarass you, a lot of them are made in North America. Keep up the ignorance. The rest of us will enjoy driving this performance SUV while you drive along in your $hitty chrysler. Peace.

  • How can you compare a Cx-7 to a rdx? Thats beyond me. I just priced the cx-7 with the same options as the rdx tech package and the only diff is 1,000 bucks. I currently own an RSX typeS and now the RDX. I would pick an Acura over a mazda ANY DAY. The only Suvs that can beat the RDX on a 0-60 is the FX45 and Cheayne(sp) Turbo.

  • The only minus points it gets is: gas mileage for premium gas and stiff ride(you wont hear me complain on a 25mph curve though)Very few CUVs or SUVs will even come close to touching it. But overall its quick, fun, and i love being pushed back into the seat every time i hit past 5,000rpm :)

    Acura and Hondas rule!

  • Lucky $1,000 off. Its very rarein Calgary. I wanted a Black RDX with tech and they were sold out of everything they only had red without tech and someone already put it on hold soo boo hoo.

  • My Mommy Bought The Rdx And I Luv it

  • 1k markup? got to be kidding me. the word is getting out that there are a number of first year bugs, poor gas mileage...if you live in Ohio, go to toledo, they have a ton on the lot, unsold. Deals will be acomin...ill be buying when they get to a few hundred over invoice...sooner than later i bet with all the other compact luxo suvs coming.

  • I have one and I am a bit disappointed in the gas mileage. As for as paying a premium, they got me on it being a Honda product. I do have a TL that I love by the way. If I had to do it all over, Toyota rav4 with all the goodies. Regular gas verses premium, and better MPG.

  • Been driving my Tech RDX for 10 months now and overall am very pleased. Gas mileage is disappointing but that's not the reason I bought the car. Have a short commute and want to have fun driving. Great sound, good stiff suspension with excellent cornering and all the tech gadgets I wanted. Love bluetooth with my cell and the turbo - some don't like the whine but it reminds me it's there, along with the kick in the seat.

  • should have got an fx45. That speaks for itself if you have ever driven one.

  • lets see, 15-20k more, ugly styling, bad resale, annoying ferrari wanabe exhaust, and pathetic mpg...no thanks.

  • that audio/nav software is really ugly, why is it greyscale? this car seems rushedly cobbled up to compete with the superior CX7

  • superior What ?? CX7 !! Here's a reality check for you: Mazda = Ford.

  • Sorry Buddy but the CX-7 is not Mazda=Ford. Sure Ford owns some of Mazda, but to make that half assed claim you're far off.

  • Shows what you know, the nav system is not grayscale it's just a poor video. It's not cobbled up and is definitely superior to the CX7.

  • fuck your pos Cx-7 it is a fucking pile of shit....even a Rav 4 is better than a crap Mazda suv.

    RDX WTF!!!!

  • "someone stole my H, thats the only reason people drive hondas" the rdx is ugly, it looks like a transformer that couldnt quite transform all the gay.. i mean way lol

  • I LOVE ACURA IT'S MUCH BETTER THAN BMW

  • haha what the x3? fool

  • Wow. You have no idea what you are talking about. I have driven both and the RDX is a superior product by far.
